In order to get regular spot in club and more certain place in world club, Morata moved from Real in first place. Wonder how it feels now that he got that move and for the first time wasnt picked in Spain squad, despite playing more at Chelsea than Real or Juve before.

Literaly the example of beware what you wish for.

Not sure what to make of it, I thought the new Spain manager was a huge fan of his and had worked with him at u21 level as well but obviously this should motivate him to improve and if it doesn't big warning signs. He has the ability but I am still curious regarding his mentality but am hopeful for next season still, think he can get 15-20 goals no problem.

Low confidence isnt even the problem with this guy, stop pointing it out everytime he doesnt score.

He was on fire in first half and was still missing one on ones with GK game after game.

He is simply put, terrible finisher.

He might get his "confidence" back and play good football, score headers, but that wont be enough for us to be top side. We need striker that can be reliable and deadly, someone who burries chances when given.

Morata isnt that, with or without confidence.

He will get another season to prove, but if he wants to improve, he will have to become more clinical, because even with confidence skyhigh, his finish is average at best.

Reports from Sky in Italy believe that Serie A giants AC Milan have joined the chase to sign Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata, amidst links with Juventus.

Honestly quite surprised that he is left out. I haven't watched Spain play for quite sometime but last time I watched Diego play for Spain, his game is just not clean enough for Spain.

I thought Morata is a better fit but his form with us this season has been worrisome

unless we can sell him for a very decent amount and get in someone like lewandwoski, icardi or cavani, I think we should keep him... drogba had a poor first year for us and eventually became our all time best striker so you never know

If Lewa or Icardi is lined up, Morata can go for all i care. If we do NOT have a prime option at striker and let morata leave on one of those ridiculous loan with buy deals ill be livid. Sarri might want Higuain but he is 3rd behind Lewa/Icardi for me. Should be quite an interesting summer.

And what if Batshuayi leaves, which is constantly being mentioned, have Lewa who is 30 and Giroud who is older as our only 2 strikers? Short term much? Morata is 25, he should be kept at all costs, he can improve still, he has the right characteristics to be a success here. Icardi wont come here in the summer I guarantee it. I'd be very surprised if Lewandowski did too to be fair.

At this moment We have Morata/Bats/Giroud. I would only happily move Morata along if we got Lewa/Icardi and probably Higuain if thats who Sarri wants.

That leaves Giroud/Bats/one of the 3.

If you look back through my previous posts on Morata I believe he will come good and I support him staying here. My point was about having a prime striker lined up before allowing Morata to leave, if he/club wants. Also, I was solely speaking about a 1 in 1 out with Morata.

Plus did you even read my post? Direct quote "If we do NOT have a prime option at striker and let morata leave on one of those ridiculous loan with buy deals ill be livid."

I agree Lewa/Icardi are incredibly unlikely, but if either agreed would you move Morata?

Regardless, I would move Batshuayi before I moved Morata, put it that way. A loan spell playing for the second best team in Germany, scoring goals against mediocre teams doesn't make up for a year and a half worth of incredibly frustrating performances.

That is fine, frankly I would agree with you. If dortmund want to spend 50 on Batman which we would then put to use to better the team while keeping Morata i would be over the moon. I was just operating under the assumption that Morata had greater market value and if he needed to move to secure someone like a Lewa/Icardi I would be willing to do it.
