Everything looks out of sync for me, he looks like he doesn't know where his feet are, meant to be or how he should use them. That first miss where he goes clear, his body isn't even in the correct position for what he is actually trying to do or achieve. The magnifying glass is really on him now after last night and if he thinks he's under pressure now, just wait until his next sitter he misses.

If his mind cannot be switched off from his wife and children for 90 minutes then there is a problem, a big problem. She is newly pregnant, she will be in good hands when he is not around and he still has a job to do.

Well I know all playersshould be able to turn off outside distractions but we know life just aint like that.

I'm worried he's missing sitters too but just think he will turn out good for us.

Granted, Morata had a better start for Chelsea than Torres but at the moment, that's it. Great positioning etc. don't matter to me if Morata (or another player) in the end doesn't score from it.

(Yes I'm still fuming with Morata. My Gooner dad rubbed it in so much that we will never beat them again in the Emirates under Conte).

Think with Torres it was more defending off the circumstances more than the performances, i and many others turned against him very quickly the next season, infact i made myself very unpopular for giving him next to no credit for Barca. Morata has in general been performing and even getting into the position's to miss those sitters shows good awareness. The type of awareness tactically helps the team flow, we looked absolutely turgid at Palace and in the first half vs Burnley because Michy was getting in everyone's way, look at the difference even Eto'o made compared to Torres. Not saying Morata will be as good but Cavani misses a lot of sitters, but it's also excellent awareness that gets him in those position's.

Putting Alvaros experience in the Real Madrid B team aside, he has only scored 50 career goals at club level. In 145 games he has only scored 50 times. That is pretty poor to be honest.
