Is there a reason why Tammy gets slaughtered all the time even though he is our top scorer, but Rüdiger never gets criticised for his lack of Football IQ and lack of Ball playing abilities?

Rudi tries hard but at best he's a very moderate CB who should be nothing more than a 4th choice option.

even assuming Tomori comes fully good to the point where he is truly far beyond Rudiger, WHO are the other two CB's you are going to buy who are better than Rudiger (as you said 4th option for him)?????

get ready to drop 150m or so quid (on top of the 300-350m we are in for at LB, Winger, and CF) for those 2 CB's

the only ones out there (and most are NOT available) who are clearly better than Rudiger and young enough to buy are

No, they both have similar weaknesses. They both lack football IQ and concentration. While Luiz only lacks Football IQ in the defensive department, Rüdiger lacks it in offensive and defensive department. But I rarely see people criticising Rüdiger. Somehow a fan favourite. When you look at this Thread, I started criticising his weaknesses way before most guys. Many People thought he was close World class, which never made sense to me.I would rather have Tomori in the team than Rüdiger because at least Tomori is a ball playing defender. Rüdiger is not. Tomori also lacks concentration, but is way younger and can at least improve.

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has slammed football's governing body's inaction over his claim that he was racially abused by Tottenham Hotspur fans earlier this season, and said that "racism has won."

Rudiger, 26, reported the alleged abuse in Chelsea's 2-0 win at Spurs in December, but the investigation has now closed after the north London club found no evidence of racial abuse toward the defender.

Speaking to Sky in Germany after his side's 2-1 home victory over Spurs in the return Premier League fixture on Saturday, Rudiger said that he feels "alone" in his fight to end racism in football.

"Racism has won! It shows that these people have won, because they are able to keep coming back to the stadium," Rudiger said.

"They won't be punished, and at the end of the day I'm the bogeyman. It's not that I'm giving up or not speaking up. I will always speak up on this, but I'm alone in that regard.

"It's a catastrophe. I had a kid on Thursday. As long as society remains as it is today, my child is ultimately very likely to suffer in the same way.

"It is clear that Rudiger lacks awareness, concentration and positioning in a game as big as this. He is not Chelsea quality. Bar far the worst IQ of any defender at Chelsea and is a massive liability. One word for him, sell"

This is what I have been saying even before everyone knew how bad his IQ was

Rudiger is our best CB no matter what masses think.

I thought the same until I’ve witnessed the countless individual errors he’s made this season. 
 Genuinely think he’s made the most errors out of our CB’s

Did these mistakes lead to the goals? If we look that way Zouma, Chris and Azpi costed us the most. How many goals we conceded because of them? I blame Emerson for example for all three goals we conceded against Arsenal.

Also we had 42 games this season and Rudiger played just 1575 minutes (17.5 games or 40%). He also came back from serious injury so he deserves the benefit of the doubt at least this season. Also the only leader of our CBs.
