If Kante's popularity and consistency are anything to go by, he should win that award. Any other winner would just be dumb.

Then how is Jorginho in top 3 CL midfielders? Plus was best MF on EURO. France didn't have good tournament at all. Just one win in 4 games. Jorginho is only player in team of the tournament on both major competitions this year. 

Also funny how 5 Chelsea players got CL nominations but Mount didn't even tho he had much better campaign in CL over PL where if you take 3 relegated teams and set pieces out had just 1 goal contribution in over 2000mins 1g 0a. Which all again shows how his POTY award has zero sense but this is on irrational Chelsea fans.

Not sure why the Euros is brought into the equation when the nominations concern the Champions League specifically.

Because Mana replied to my comment about Jorginho possibly gettting Ballon d Or now after Messi is not even nominated as one of the 3 best attackers in CL.

Regardless, Kante was more influential in our Champions League run than Jorginho. 

And hard to complain about Messi not being nominated when the main 3 nominees are Haaland, Lewandowski and Mbappe. All 3 had more of an impact.

Offers more on the ball but in terms of influence I'd say they are on par. 

A midfield three of Lampard/Makelele/Kante would've been incredible.
