John Terry

That yellow card today was so OBVIOUSLY done purposefully, so that he would be suspended for the Liverpool CC game (which he wasn't going to play in, anyway) and the yellows would be wiped out.

It was absolutely ridiculous  1) JT never takes throw ins 2) he just seemed to stand there not even bothering to fake it

Mourinho's impact on AVB :eyebrows:

Realised after that he was actually being a genius not a twat. Cheeky JT!

If he plays for England or not i dont give a damn. BUT! he should not retire from Chelsea, he is by far not over the hill!.

Comparing him to Scholes that old twat, seriously man get a grip your talking about Mr Blues!.

I was afraid that our attackers' sublime display will mask Terry's performance, but I'm glad to read that many fans noticed his immense contribution. I know who I will be voting for in the MotM thread ;)

Yeah, I just realised that too. A tweak of philosophy?

Perhaps AVB taking Lipton's advice, playing the old spine and reverting back to Jose tactics :Goober: Naah I think it was an emergency decision, because December is the month where you don't fuck about with wannabe Barca tactics, especially in our position... It will be interesting to see if he keeps it like that against strong oppositions or not throughout the season.

Yep and also Mata played much more central today, so he's definitely changing things that aren't working (Romeu in for Mikel, etc)

True, we were without a left winger... tbh we attacked very rarely on the left, mostly through centre or right.. It's a new situation for us, previously we were used to abusing the left side.

Mata was just superb in the hole in the first half. He had so much space and he doesn't need much time to produce quality. It's definitely where he's best.
