If we sold those 3 we wouldnt get half of the reported money Citeh offered for JT. And to replace them we'd need to spend twice, maybe more than what we would get for them in the transfer market. This is why I see selling JT would be a more sensible "business" move as we could spend 1/5 of the fee adding a defender and still have a whopping amount to add to other areas of the squad like 2 wingers, plus we'd also have adequate replacements in Alex/Mancienne/Ivanovic. Its not only city out there i think if someone come around from like the MLS lets say and made a ridiculous bid for someone like ballack or deco, which i can see happening as teams from that league do look for the has beens to make there league bigger and a few team did take interest in deco and bid ridiculous amounts of money for him when he was at barca but he wanted to come challenge himself with us. And its not because he may or may not love Chelsea FC, I think he does, because he's been the captain for so long and because he always puts the graft in, but because simply City are nowhere near as good a side as Chelsea and it would be detrimental to his career.
