Madmax 9,219
Drug dealer father, what can he do about that? Thieving mother, what can he do about that? Wayne Bridge incident, I'm fairly certain nothing was ever actually proven. Alleged racist remark, yet plays and socialises with many black team mates and friends, who I'm guessing, based on the hugging and such post match don't consider the man to be a racist. Innocent until proven guilty in any case. Capello quiting because he couldn't play JT is Capello's doing and nothing to to with JT, seemed like an excuse to leave to be honest.JT might well be a scum bag, but why would you worry about what other fans think? Any number of those hypocrites will slander JT for all his misgivings but not think twice to back all the scum bags in their own teams. They do it to make noise, not because they actually care about what he does.As for his ability, maybe he's not as good as he used to be, but he's still solid 90% of the time. Carragher is a bad comparison as he's 3 years JT's senior, and in my opinion, not as good to begin with.I think he should be rotated but he's got a few years in him yet.Edit: Your examples of him being bad include games spread over many years, which in the grand scheme of things are insignificant when compared to the amount of solid games he's had. Also, most of them are from the one Liverpool game, every player has bad days, it happens. And Andy Carroll out classed him... once. So what? Carroll is actually decent player contrary to popular and bias belief. No player can be solid 100% of the time.GTFO with your logic and perspective, no place for that here. Also, SHM, I'm blaming you when the fucker goes and scores in the Euros. Rambo 1,729
JT can still put up world class performances..he's still got a few seasons in him imo with the right rotation system.
Henrique 9,133
I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of JT, and never was.But I also have to admit that before the match against Bayern I was really concerned about the fact he would not be there. I agree that he is not the kind of character the club needs to be its face, but he still has some years of good football and he still is important for the group. not a big fan 9
I have no doubt JT is an axxhole in real life but many famous people are like that. What's important is that as a footballer he has made many contributions to our success over the last 10 years. Moreover, 31 is not the end for a defender. Don't forget that even in their 30s Paolo Maldini and A. Nesta were still rated among of the bests in the world, and JT is on the same level as them, technically. Despite having become a bit slower he is still a rock in Chelsea's defense with a lot of experience to pass on to new players such as Cahill, and a leader on the field and in the locker room. I'm sure if the new manager adopts a proper rotation policy he'll still be very useful for the club for at least 2 or 3 more years.
captainjt26 106
JT still has another good 2-3 seasons left in him , however there is no denying that he is reaching a decline but the performances he can give are better than most upcoming centrebacks in the game .COME ON JT !CAPTAIN LEADER LEGEND
Blue Traveler 256
kylehimself@ summed it up perfectly. The problem here is, everyone wants to see a flawless human nature! that's impossible! show me someone who's without human deficiencies and he is the same and we should respect it. He is the club captain for more than a decade and if we bring him down we are questioning the credibility and validity of our own club. Spike 12,049
What I don't like about the Cahill and Luiz pairing is that they seem to be more on the quiet side and don't organise things as well as the loud mouthed captain.
Madmax 9,219
Szczesny :Talking to Polish tabloid newspaper Fakt, the talented keeper said:"W Arsenalu to synonim brzydkiej dziewczyny. Jeśli jakaś laska nam się nie podoba, to dla niepoznaki mówimy coś w stylu - "Have you seen John Terry recently?" (Czy widziałeś ostatnio Johna Terry' ego?). "Terry" jak "terrible", czyli tragiczny. Polecam. To naprawdę działa!"English translation:"At Arsenal it [the name John Terry] is another word for an ugly girl. If there's a girl around that we don't really like, we use it as a smokescreen, as in: 'Have you seen John Terry recently?' "Terry" as in "terrible, how tragic. I recommend this, it really works!"Another one of what Mourinho would call a voyeur. Can't seem to stop talking about us, seems to have a complex of some kind, the poor lad. Manuf 1,448
Guys, now wait a minute! Fakt in Poland is something I wouldn't even compare to DailyMail as it would be like comparing us with QPR. It's the most shittiest newspaper out there bar none. They have a league of their own of how shit they are. They make up stories all the time just to sell it and people buy it to have few good laughs. I will show you some covers and translate them so that you can understand what I'm talking about:Translation: he beat his mother with Krakowska sausageHe killed because his feet smeltor my personal favourite:I'm not sleeping because I'm holding my cupboardIt really is shit, so I doubt he even talked with them as no other newspaper reported such thing

Jase 43,479
Is anyone concern about the possible lengthy ban Terry could face IF he was to found guilty in the court case? Would leave us short on CBs next season and there could be serious consequences from the club too.
