The defence has been tampered with too much this season. Look at the 09/10 season; besides for injury it was always Ivan - Alex/Carvalho - Terry - Cole. There has been too much fiddling around at centre-half this season, you can't mess around there too much. No wonder why we're not as solid as we were, you learn to play with certain players and get comfortable. It is especially important for the defence and goalkeeper.

That yellow card today was so OBVIOUSLY done purposefully, so that he would be suspended for the Liverpool CC game (which he wasn't going to play in, anyway) and the yellows would be wiped out.

It was absolutely ridiculous  1) JT never takes throw ins 2) he just seemed to stand there not even bothering to fake it

True. I am sure he will, its just difficult when the media are acting like a bunch of hyenas. he'll probably score against Wolves -(though he could do with a rest- ) then every one will be spunking ''captain, leader legend'' again

Only a cunt quotes themselves, so I am

I honestly can't believe this is still going on. How the police and the FA can let this drag on for so long when someone's reputation is at stake is a fucking travesty. All the makings of a PR witch hunt. Let the accusations boil in the media for awhile until it seeps into the public's mind that he's guilty, and then, weeks later, come out and say "no charges are being filed" when the damage has already been done.

You would have to be an idiot to write John Terry off. The man is a warrior. True hero.

If John Terry can somehow gain speed and learn how to play in highline defending then that will be a miracle, but you don't need speed that much if you have a great team and midfield there already.

Aye...a midfield that doesn't give rarely gives away possession in the middle of the park...

Hammersmith and Fulham police have interviewed John Terry under caution as part of their investigation into allegations that he racially abused Anton Ferdinand during Chelsea's defeat by Queens Park Rangers last month.

A statement was taken from Terry in Surrey last Friday, 24 hours before Chelsea's home game against Wolves, as the police continue to compile accounts of the incident which took place late in the derby at Loftus Road on 23 October. It remains to be seen whether charges are brought against the 30-year-old England captain, who is also the subject of inquiries by the Football Association into the flashpoint.

Terry denies racially abusing the QPR defender but has already admitted using offensive words, claiming he had shouted them as a denial having been under the assumption that Ferdinand had accused him of making a racist remark. He welcomed the announcement of the FA's inquiry as an opportunity to clear his name, only for the Metropolitan police to follow suit as a result of an emailed complaint from a member of the public.

As part of the inquiry, players at Chelsea and QPR have been interviewed, with confirmation now that Terry has also been contacted. A 30-year-old man was interviewed under caution on Friday 25 November, said a Scotland Yard spokesman. He was not arrested. The Crown Prosecution Service is understood to have received files on the investigation from the police, but more are expected to be lodged before any decision is made as to whether charges are to be pressed.

Terry just needs to be rested more , if you think how many times he has played through all these injurys it has got to take its toll eventually.

Give him some games off and he will be fresh when it matters , i do think once thise Rasicim thing is over it will help him concentate.
