It's amazing how much effect he had.

Such an underrated player, you have had players with unbelievable concentration and work rate, defensive type players. They've never been considered as one of the best ever or anything, not even called up on footballer of the year have they?. You get these crazy players who don't switch off and make a huge difference in the team, so consistent etc.

But instead players with the flair and attacking football get the highlights, cause goals are footballs biggest highlight. And that's what creates the goals, unfortunately what prevents the goals never gets the recognition it deserves.

Bastia have announced the appointment of former France international Claude Makelele as the club's new coach.

Maka guided Bastia to a wild 3-3 draw vs OM. IMHO this is an awesome result for Maka. If he can keep Bastia up in Ligue 1, it will be a damn good accomplishment
