From what I seen from the United fans they are like us blaming the coach and the board for letting Otamendi and Pedro go.

Not like oh we didn't need him delusional type thinking like Liverpool fans do.

So, Pedro has apparently been in London all day and we still have not heard a god damn thing...

Usually find these deals are announced by both selling and buying club around same time once they've both signed their documents to confirm sale and purchase. So with no announcement yet my guess is either the mentioned documents havent been signed by both clubs yet, or Chelsea have asked Barca to wait until tomorrow once Pedro has signed his contract. Just a guess

My view on Pedro

From what I have seen over the years he has struggled against premier league teams. I am also worried he will not give us defensive cover that Willian provides. He has good stats on assists and Goals, but you have to bear in mind that Chelsea will never score goals freely like Barcelona.

Having said that if I was given a choice between Pedro and Mane, I would take Mane any day purely because the guy is proven in EPL and the type of player Chelsea needs in terms of creativity.

I hope I am wrong. Judging from our results in pre season and first two games of the season, there is a problem and I am not sure Pedro will help.

From a statistical perspective he's not that bad. He played 480 minutes in 8 games against Premier League teams, scored 1 goal and assisted 3. Goal/assist every other game or every 120 minutes. Not that bad considering he played against top clubs in Champions League.

That proven in the PL thing is so overrated. What is that worth? Pedro is proven. Plain and simple. He has scored in a CL final as well as played in the biggest games possible. Balotelli is "proven" in the PL. Would you take him? Torres was "proven" in the PL. Countless other players as well, the system a player plays in and the players he is surrounded by make him play well. NOT, a league. La Liga is considered by many as the best league in the world. About workrate, while no winger has the workrate Willian does, Pedro is no slouch in that department. I think it's a good signing, he is a comparison between the two. Imo we can't really use those stats to compare them since Pedro plays for Barca. He doesn't really have to retake the ball when you have 70% possession.
