Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
It's a shame, we could do with a starter in this position.Like who?
Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
Honestly if we get Pedro we will walk the league again. Hazard, Costa and Pedro would generate enough goals, Mou is worth 10 points alone and whole team is getting more experienced with each year spending together. And neither team can make some great team work straight away after buying xx players. Given that City has Pellegrini and United Van Gaal, it will take some time for them to get the chemistry needed.I think you're underestimating the opposition greatly. Pizy 18,904
I think you're underestimating the opposition greatly.I kind of agree with him. Don't think we'll walk the league but I think we'll win it without anyone questioning whether we deserved it or not. Maybe by 5-6 points or something like that.Without any top class signings I think we'd still struggle against the best 3-4 sides in Europe. We don't even know how some of our players will respond to having a target on their backs. Repeating is easily the hardest thing to do in sports and the opposition will be a lot tougher and more determined to knock us off. Adding Pedro doesn't put the fear of God into anyone... If we get him I won't be disappointed but walking the league is a bit too presumptuous.

Pizy 18,904
So I don't really know what portion of what he wrote you are in agreement withI said I "kind of" agree with him. I think we'll win it but I don't think we'll win it with a large gap between us and the rest of the top 4.There may be only a few points separating the top few sides like in José's first season back two years ago. JaKstone 307
"It is a difficult situation. You want more minutes, more options, to be at the forefront of things but things are getting more difficult for me."It's a dream playing for Barcelona. I have won many titles and this fills me with satisfaction and joy, but you have to have the ambition to keep improving and play regularly."I wish I could stay at Barca but it is a very demanding club. It's hard at the top level, so we'll see what happens."But obviously one is happier when one can play."
JaKstone 307
Why would Pedro come here is beyond me he won't even be a starter and more or less the same as Barcelona.

It's a trend around here, a lot of people are underestimating City, United and Arsenal, who will continue to spend and get players in this improving their squads. This is precisely why we need to strengthen our team. We need a goalscoring winger and a box to box midfielder for big teams right now. Not waiting till January. Everyone doesn't want to bid for reus for some strange reason, so the only possible available right winger keeps falling back to pedro. Our hands are tied... yuvala 2,167
He doesn't even play in the same position as Oscar. Yes but Oscar has fallen out of favour compared to Willian and Hazard (as for the end of last season,)Imo if he plays well and Oscar doesn't then he would be a starter alongside Hazard and Willian. And he could also do better than Willian and replace him if Oscar delivers. (RAC1)Pedro's clause (2/2): "...the club [FC Barcelona] could apply this calculation to the games he played last season" (RAC1) #FCB #CFCRadio Catalunya - "From the club say they do not have any offer for Pedro or any communication by the agent of the player." (RAC1) #FCB #CFCMourinho will instruct #CFC to contact #FCB and pay Pedro's release clause only once the electoral process has been completed (Diario Sport)The difference with #CFC's bid, though, is that Mourinho has personally called Pedro.
