Radamel Falcao

Falcao knows he's not as good as so many deluded (i tried to think of a less harsh word but failed) football fans claim he is. Smart move. He'd be exposed at a top club.

Plenty of fish in the sea, not too bothered about this.

A shame for football's sake though, never nice to see one of the best players in the world waste their career with a silly move.

Like Thomas Gravesen ?

Falcao agreed to go to Monaco, according to Sky Italy

My personal sources informed me that Falcao yesterday was still undecided but teams reached an agreement, now he said ok to move to Monaco

Again...

Why he can't go straight to madrid?!

because Atletico would never sell him to Real Madrid! its not even a option for any players from either team to move between clubs!

If you mean his short stint at Real Madrid, then no. It's okay to be ambitious and take your chances at the very highest level if the opportunity comes but for a player like Falcao who surely is good enough to start for any club on earth to join a newly promoted club like Monaco is a lame move and the majority of neutrals will be very disappointed to never see Falcao play for one of the best teams in the world and take part in the Champions League. If he goes to Monaco, there's no coming back. Even if he changed his mind, no one would want to buy him for 50m anymore and his wages will be too high for anyone.

Teams like Monaco should just stick to buying players who would be sure to improve their team but ones whose careers at the very top are soon coming to an end. Players like Samuel Eto'o for example. And I know a certain Fernando Torres, maybe Monaco would pay 25m for him too. ;)
