Apparently, the club tabled a contract worth 8m - a - year & 60m fee with Atletico.

I am not sure here. Who are Chelsea going to drop in the summer, then ?

Will Lukaku stay put ? Will Courtois be sold ?

To me, it seems as quick patch up job here. I know, Falcao is just one fine footballer. Who wouldn´t want him ?

However, is Falcao a long term deal or is it just for 2-3 years ?

That's whats always annoyed me about our club. I know it's because we're big, demand success every year etc. but fuck me, imagine we were the ones who snapped up Cavani/Falcao for little or nothing, took a chance on them and they turned out to be the absolute beasts they are today, I'm pretty sure it'd be worth the wait. This is where I'm coming from with Lukaku, don't you believe he'd be worth the wait? And I don't believe the likes of Falcao/Cavani would be under nearly as much pressure here if they were snapped up from relatively small teams, look at Hernandez for example.

Isn't that what the club did with KDB or Courtois? Got them (relatively) cheap and now (especially Courtois although I believe Kevin will as well) they've proven themselves (albeit on loan) to be the beasts Chelsea hoped they'd become one day.

I'm serious! He could be just as good as those two with other great players around him. He scores at will in a midtable Liverpool side that he carries. Imagine an attack with Suarez, Mata, Hazard, ect. Teams would shit bricks before the match even started.

Completely hinges on whether or not we finish top 4 I'd think. Make top 4 and I think we'll splash the cash on an expensive striker. Fail and we recall Lukaku and focus on another area to invest money in.
