A trophy is just a piece of metal or whatever it is made of.While getting a human being who can almost 100% surely, bring you positive emotions week-in-week-out plus trophies is far better deal as far as iam concerned.Talking about gloryhunters.

But dude you should understand where people are coming from if they disagree with you. The UCL win is the most precious thing that ever happened to every Chelsea fan and nothing can top that and to say that you would prefer Falcao over the night in Allianz Arena is just crazy to be honest.

Good call, save ourselves £40 million in wages / transfer fees.

You would be happy for our rivals to get Falcao and we get Dzeko?

That's like giving away a million quid for a tenner in return...

It's not OUR money, it's Romans, if he wants to spend it, I'm cool with that.

Don't quote FFP as that is easily circumnavigated...

We want to be the best, we should sign the best...

Chelsea won't pay over odds for Falcao.

Chelsea will not pay above €35 million for Atletico Madrid's in-form striker Radamel Falcao, a source has told ESPN.

Falcao, 26, has already scored 12 goals in eight Atletico Madrid appearances this season and has been dubbed 'the world's best No. 9', prompting a host of top clubs to race for his signature.

The Colombian could be the missing piece of the puzzle for Chelsea, with £50 million man Fernando Torres struggling for goals, but the Blues are not willing to pay over the odds for a player again and have set themselves a budget.

"Chelsea would go to 35 million euros but I don't believe they would go higher. The owner is fed up paying inflated prices," a source close to Roman Abramovich told ESPN.

"There is no way Abramovich will sanction such a price again, I just don't believe he will. Atletico paid €45 million for him, so I cannot believe they would sell for anything less."

Falcao has a €60 million buy-out clause in his contract, but Abramovich and the Chelsea hierarchy are acutely aware of UEFA's Financial Fair Play directive and any extravagant new signings would prejudice their abilities to persuade UEFA that are living within the financial rules.

Sounds like a load of bollocks to me... Probably tipped off by a City Fan...

I can't see sources close to Roman revealing fuck all, if they did, wouldn't last long, his thoughts are some of the most private in the world, but he allows someone to blab to ESPN... Yeah April 1st long gone dude.... (Guy who wrote article not Kohnas)

I'm going to write something on Falcao to Chelsea based on figures, I've the detail of every Falcao goal 11/12 (from a youtube video, yay!)

Falcao scores 53% of his goals via crosses, Atletico Madrid uses 25 crosses per game and they're the 3rd best team in La Liga for that

Chelsea uses 19 crosses per game and is 18th in the Premier League for that

Lol, loving this so he's pretty much the wrong man for the job completely since everyone wants him to play through the middle with our team of no width.....i hate and love being right.

AS said before Falcao needs width as deos torres.

That happens because Falcao is an aerial threat and not the other way around. Same as Torres...

And? You think we won't cross more if Falcao is in the team? And why didn't you just say Chelsea cross 19 times the ball and Atletico 25 without the useless other information that most people will catch on.

And who will be delivering said crosses? None of our players are particularly adept at crossing. Mata is pretty much the only one who often crosses the ball.

Ivanovic? Cole? Oscar? Hazard?

And I don't remember him scoring from any crosses against us?

So again, stats being used as 'gospel' to prove something that is subjective.

If that's the way Atletico play then he will score more from crosses, if they played through the middle guess what, he would score from there too...

Amazing... :)

A year ago our players just couldn't cross anyway even with Drogba in the team, we all know how shit Kalou and Malouda were. But right now .. Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Marin, Moses are all players who have the technical capabilities to cross and if given the instructions and if they see the point in doing that ( because let's face it crossing for Torres is just a waste the lad will never beat his marker anyway) they will do it far more often.

Stop falling into their trap.

The guy doesn't need crosses to score, just because Atletico play that way, doesn't mean he's a one trick pony...

Ignore it - these people will try and convince you Villa & Dzeko are better players...

A trophy isnt just a peice of metal! The UCL for this team has been 10 long hard years!

We won the UCL without Falcao, why can't we win it again?

Do you not have 100% positive emotions when you see Chelsea play?

The shit you come up with is really cringe worthy

Dzeko isn't a better player...but in terms of goalscoring ability & age, he'd be a good pickup for Chelsea IF City were willing to sell him.
