Thendo 1,088
How pathetic if United really go for Falcao, they really need a solid cb or defensive midfielder but end up splashing 50m on a 28 year old striker instead...lol!
didierforever 7,349
United are a joke, they need a proper DM and a ball player CB (if they want to continue playing 3-5-2_ yet they splash £40 million on Falcao... 52mil £. 40mil £ on falcao would be a decent buy even of they have rvp and rooney. The only place to be 11,313
Anyone confused by this shouldn't be. United's policy has been clear for a while now.Who is available?Fellaini was available. He wasn't what they needed, but he was available.Mata was available. They needed a deep-lying midfielder, they bought a number 10 who isn't as good as Rooney.Di Maria was available. Falcao is available.Ed Woodward has no fucking idea how to buy footballers. Great commercial manager (although United are one of the most valuable sporting brands in the world so it's not the toughest job in the world) but he's simply trying to look busy in the role of buying players.Look at what our board did. We needed a DM so we got one of the best in Europe UNDERPRICED. We needed a creative midfielder so we bought one of the best the Premier League has seen in the last decade. We had a striker who was costing us too much so we sold him and bought one in who has a decent record in the league. United are an utter joke at the moment.Oh and €65 million at €9 million for a guy who has played THREE matches since recovering from an ACL injury is incredible. Special Juan 28,141
Cannot believe the money United have spent and what it will be if they sign Falcao. But it will be all "Look at United" where as if it was we would be chastised by the media. Interesting to see what happens with the whole third party ownership quagmire seeing as it's banned in England. This 9mil has to be a conservative estimate. He has to know that rooney earns 15mil £, rvp earns 10mil £, maria earns 10mil £.

Jase 43,479
I don't get it. Why do United even need Falcao for? Is Van Gaal changing from 3-5-2 to 3-2-5?!
