bababoom 4,478
Falcao: Only Rennes' Pitroipa (98) has lost the ball due to a poor 1st touch more times than Falcao (81) in Europe's top 5 leagues this term
Pizy 18,927
No way in HELL he'd go to United unless Rooney and one of Cheatcharito or Welbeck were sold. That, and I doubt they'd feel the need to blow £45m+ on a player who plays in their strongest position after likely winning the league by double-digit points.Laughable story. He constantly goes to beat the first man and often with a quick first touch flick on.
Joker10 946
Nope. What about Cavani, who's currently out scoring Falcao (last time I checked anyway) whilst at Napoli who are arguably as "average" as Atletico?I said it from day one, Falcao is an immense striker, has the most lethal finish in world football when on form but he doesn't fit in the style we're trying to implement here at CFC and frankly the money we have to offer to get him is too much. Cavani is a much better fit for this team and would be as expensive - frankly if we were to pick a big money striker I'd pick Cavani over Falcao everyday. What style are we trying to implement? The Skipper 20,609
What style are we trying to implement?Certainly not the counter attacking style Falcao is thriving under at Atletico.

The Skipper 20,609
Surely if the rumors of Mourinho coming back is true, then it would suit Falcao style, no?Well, Mourinho doesn't exclusively play counter attacking football. He'll play to the strength of the squad - our best players are Hazard and Mata, who thrive more in possession based football.

He did play for AVB's Porto which were a dominant side in possession. For some reason people seem to ignore that when evaluating him.Just for the record i am not particularly a fan of poachers, and prefer my strikers to be very well rounded but there is no reason for so many to underrate Falcao. Leif 6,006
Lol United would never sign Falcao. Doesn't suit them at all. Or who knows, maybe they would.. but he'll end up how Forlan was there most likely.
