I started this post getting ready to complain about the loss a of goal scorer we'd experience if we replaced Pedro with Bernardo. Then I realized Pedro and Willian haven't scored much either.

He is promising, but his size can be a problem in PL. Not saying small players cant make it, but we already have Eden. Would be good if our RW had ability not only to dribble, but sometimes to push through defences like Bale or Robben do.

Also Lemar created more chances at Monaco, so Silva is definately not the only one pulling strings. Even if he was sort of playmaker, you cant simply say he will replace Cesc. Having midfielder who can operate with ball and distribute it is crucial in today football. 

I would still prefer Lemar and by quite a big margin.  Not saying he is better than Bernardo, but IMO he would fit here more. Bit stronger, heavy worker, can play anywhere and very direct. He can cross, pass or dribble, even score goals.

Disagree. Bernardo is the main creator for Monaco, and all of those things you said apply directly to Silva as well, and he is a significantly better passer and dribbler than Lemar. Like i said before, the only thing Lemar has on Silva is his speed and FK ability. Also, their goal output is extremely similar, i think Bernardo has 7 goals and Lemar has 8, something like that. Also, this height thing is absolutely not necessary for a winger, an argument could be made for a FB, but a winger's duty is not to win headers

I just hope the rumours are true on Chelsea getting a very early start on the transfers for summer. Early work is desperately needed in this crazy club football marketplace! Give Conte what he wants and make Chelsea better from wing backs to CM, to FWD line as quickly as possible!

When a young player is getting so much hype to the point of being given the cursed title of "the next Messi" I get very cautious. It is more a rule than exception that those players fade and never live up to expectations. Gotta stay positive though I guess.

Hazard and Silva together would be absolutely terrifying. So tricky and slick. Costa would be licking his lips. Will be a heavyweight battle for him this summer, lets hope we come out on top!
