If Pogba is a target then it would be ridiculous to imagine that the board would not consider linking the two deals. Of course they would  but they will also know that it won't help them one bit. After all, what does Pogba care where Juan plays next season? If Poba is as widely coveted as his agent wants us to believe, the former Man Utd man will decide his next destination himself and it won't be Chelsea. Juan Cuadrado's future will be a complete non issue in his decision.

As i ended 1 can dream about Pogba deal tho to be honest i wouldn't want the club to slap that amount of money around for the dude,we need a world class all rounder CM 4 sure. So if we our not using Cuadrado as a bargaining tool with Juve then flog him to the highest bidder, me don't love him long time i'm thinking for loads of noodles?

Watching what he did for us I would take 2 million and a bag of mars bars.

this team needs a full reinvestment, not only that but it's about time we started cashing in on the dead wood.

lol

"Watching what he did for us".

How many games did Cuadrado start? If I remember when Cuadrado was introduced, the game was usually decided. Considering his first game was in early february and considering he started no more than 4 games, Its really nonsense to say 2m is good enough based in watch you saw last season.

Its really weird when I read people saying every single player must be sold, when this squad is pretty weak and lack depth. Actually Cuadrado should be playing here next season.

SJ will reply for himself if he wants to but he's not being literal about the fee. He's simply using a form of words to say that, like many of us, he thinks Cuadrado has no place in our squad and should be allowed to leave so that his wages can be reinvested in a useful squad member. Personally, I'd play hard ball and ask for a bag of Mars and two bags of Twix.

As for Juan not having had much opportunity to show us what he's got, I back those who feel they saw enough to be comfortable about JC moving on this summer.

You don't really need to tell me he is not being literal about the fee, but you should really be watching another team when you believe Cuadrado has no place in this squad. This is far from a stellar team, its actually team where the best DM is Mikel, a LB who is actually a RB and can't even cross, and a RB who is an aging CB, and is a specialisty in killing attacking opportunities.

Sorry mate. But this argument simply does not suffice.

If this is a team which has mikel as its best DM (currently) and a LB who is actually a RB etc etc, then we should be looking to improve it rather than making the situation any worse by adding mediocre players in the squad who provide nothing over the current roster and hamper any youth development.

Currently we have hazard, willian, pedro as our AMs. we have the likes of musonda, boga, kenedy who can easily be SUPERSTARS in the future. Simply cant see why we need someone like cuadrado in our squad.

Of course we both know that I am not watching a different team yet I remain absolutely certain that Cuadrado is not the answer to any of our problems. We won't improve a team that is short of quality players by deploying another individual who lacks the required qualities. Clearly you feel differently but I can only see the world through my own eyes, and assess what I see through the filter of my own judgement. I'm therefore stuck with having to disagree with you.

He is doing quite well in juventus and i am happy for him....Please do not bring him back..He is simply not suited to Premier League and our AM department is filled with oscar and kennedy as squad options..if he comes back there is no room for even bench role

He is doing very well at Juventus and is said to not want to go back to london.. But it is known that Conte loves him madly, like Cavani, Benatia, Nainggolan.. and yes, Emanuele Giaccherini, the favourite one of the mister.

If he returns then no doubt he will do better under Conte. Mourinho didn't show trust or encouragement in anybody outside of his untouchables and that stripped many players off confidence. What I've read about Conte gives hope that he is different to Mourinho in man management and tactics so we might not see so many flops.

That's a bit of an exaggeration, isn't it? I mean he's doing well, but not VERY well. He can be so frustrating on the ball at times and often over does it. But Allegri has utilized him tactically very well, especially in some of the bigger games.

In this season he hasn't had much space, also because in the 3-5-2 he can't give his best, but he was decisive in several games (Torino, Fiorentina, Genoa, Frosinone) and in recent times he's playing much more.

The intention of the board should be to redeem him, but to no more than 20 mln.. but now with Antonio in Blue everything is more difficult.
