MrBlueGuy 1,552
Did OK nothing special, not as good as Willian tracking back but got the potential
Supermonkey92 1,428
Did OK nothing special, not as good as Willian tracking back but got the potential Well willian has always been something else defending that right wing, starting to think its unfair comparing lol how does he look going forward? Can't expect much in a tight game but curious?
Rom2013 446
He is all we need. A player with the pace and movement of Schurrle, but he defends well, he is not afraid of taking risks (passing, shooting or 1on 1 situations) and still has good link up play. A player that can do everything well but on counter attack should be really great.Today I think he did wel in the first half, in the second not so well. They parked the bus, it's not the best situation for him but even with that he did OK.
LDN Blue 7,903
Potential is there, he shows glimpses of his flashiness.. But I feel like he's going to need some time to adapt. With Schurrle and Salah gone, I see no reason why he shouldn't get that.
MrBlueGuy 1,552
Well willian has always been something else defending that right wing, starting to think its unfair comparing lol how does he look going forward? Can't expect much in a tight game but curious? As others have said, literally involved in the whole of 1st half, 2nd half not so much so not surprisingly withdrawn. Again I don't think this was the best game to make a judgement on him because Everton parked the bus so we couldn't really play freely. Next game against Burnley should give us a much better indication of how well he is fitting in.He certainly isn't afraid to run and play long passes though. Corner kick was honest pretty bad, but that can be worked on and with Fab now back it doesn't really matter I guess.
LAB 1,030
Positive first half. Second half meh, but yeah, too early to be judged for the negatives.
Jase 43,479
Promising first start from the lad. Showed glimpses of his qualities. Could certainly do with less of the over-elaborating and be more decisive in the final third.
illmatic 901
Around the minute 40 of first half; William did a cross, the ball go to the area, and the 9 was........ Ivanovic! When I see to the right side, Cuadrado was like RB. In this moment, I understood his signing . It's clear that Mou is not only fixed in his offensive skills, also into the tactical. In general, good game for Juan.
MrExcalibur100 7,124
Shown more in 90 mins than Salah's done all season. I was really impressed with him, especially considering just how defensive Everton were. He'll be even more boss when Costa and Fabregas are back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_mn5dxD0Bg
kellzfresh 7,229
Once he plays together with Costa and fabregas, his understanding with the team should double

DH1988 1,348
Tidy tidy tidy.Loved seeing that front four, obviously I'd prefer to see it with Costa because I think it has such potential, the closing down and workrate was amazing from everyone even if some had a quiet game.Good signs. Special Juan 28,141
Thought he did well. Hard to be too harsh on him with his first start but like already said he show nice glimpses of flair.
petre.ispirescu 4,928
Made at least three good runs behind the defenders in the 2nd half but no one picked them out. No worries though, Cesc will solve this thing.Overall a good performance. The three behind Diego must be Hazard, Willian and Cuadrado from now on. ZOS 580
I saw him defending deep in our half a couple of times. Very nice game from him.
Ainsley Harriott 2,732
The initial signs are good IMO. He seems to have that directness/dribbling combo we needed. He seems a little nervous and doesn't a grest understanding with the rest of his teammates yet, which is perfectly normal considering he's just arrived. Also a pretty willing worker, which is nice.Don't think he'll be much of a goal scorer, he'll get his, but not at a really high rate. However, Juan seems to have the remaining skills that were necessary... Will be worth the tradeoff for Schurrle I think.PS: those corners... Very much Chelsea-like. Vybz Kartel 1,613
His hold up play has not been convincing at all, rather Willian than him at the moment when we are in a tight situation and we need to hold the ball up

Plus Willian is in great form right now.

Plus Willian is in great form right now.I know what you mean, but its an observation that I have made, he losses the ball way more than he retains it, to be fair to him its only a small sample to judge from, hopefully he improves that aspect of his game sooner rather than later if he is to be of much use for this season atleast
