Jase 43,479
Atsu wasn't really given chances from what I remember. He barely played.Think they'd actually start Cuadrado. Who is their starting RW anyways? Mirallas and Cuadrado on opposite wings would be decent for a club like Everton.Provided Cuadrado can even get the basics right in the first place. A major reason why he has been a failure here is because he is weak, can't keep the ball, can't pass the ball, has a tendency to dive into challenges etc.

But I just went back and checked and Everton have played Tom fucking Cleverly out wide in their first couple of games. Surely Cuadrado is better than him?Worth a try if we want Stones so desperately. Henrique 9,133
Provided Cuadrado can even get the basics right in the first place. A major reason why he has been a failure here is because he is weak, can't keep the ball, can't pass the ball, has a tendency to dive into challenges etc.Reason why Cuadrado has been a failure: Mourinho is basically manager with no repertoire. He won't create a tactic based in the players he has available. Just think about Juan Mata. Geez, the man looked average an awfull playing for Mourinho, despite easily being the best player during 12/13 season. The reason why: Mourinho wanted Mata to play a role that is not suitt for his playing abilities. For past 2 seasons Mourinho is stuck with his predictable 4-2-3-1. I bet in 2019 the team will be playing with the same pattern. He only change the players. It doesn't matter if the team is facing PSG or Stoke City. 4-2-3-1.Defensive approach: Matic/Ramires or Mikel or Zouma; Hazard, William, Fabregas as #10 role; Lone CF.Offensive approach: the Matic, Fabregas; Hazard, William, Oscar as #10; Lone CFWith some minor variations.Quadrado is a not player like William, he lacks the tactical disicipline and is not used to defend. He was good in Italy and was easily one of best players of 2014 WC.Pedro will play as RW. I don't expect Pedro to score many goals doing Willian's job. Actually he will be dropped as soon as he is not giving Ivanovic enough protection.

BlueLyon 9,359
For some reason reading this gave me a hard laugh I feel cold in my heart just by thinking of that possibility. I would only keep Ramires as he still offers something extra in big games, either a goal, good engine, pace, whatever. But for Mikel and Cuadrado, there are shitload of better and more useful players out there. Cheaper too.

BlueLyon 9,359
If Jose is persistent on playing Ivanovic, who knows he will be persistent on keeping Cuadrado too Ivanovic may be bad defender but he is one brilliant big game player. Efficient and does the job when needed. Deserves more credit for that. Cuadrado on other hand was plain shit for us. He simply isnt PL material.
