We Hate Scouse 10,326
Signing Juan Cuadrado makes no sense - and it could hurt Chelsea in the title racehttps://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/paul-parker/signing-juan-cuadrado-makes-no-sense---and-it-could-hurt-chelsea-in-the-title-race-132231604.html That is genuinely one of the worst articles I have ever read. It is so poorly written and structured. His argument is Cuadrado isn't proven and Schurrle scored some goals off the bench a few times. He even goes as far as compering Cuadrado an international world cup star, with Scott Parker, Jack Rodwell and Scott Sinclair. What the fuck is this guy on?!?!Even more so he ends off by saying that Cuadrado might be a masterstroke of a signing and will "in all likelihood be a phenomenal signing". He completely contradicted his whole article in one sentence. What a first class prick.
RoyalBlues 4,050
Signing Juan Cuadrado makes no sense - and it could hurt Chelsea in the title racehttps://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/paul-parker/signing-juan-cuadrado-makes-no-sense---and-it-could-hurt-chelsea-in-the-title-race-132231604.html I'm quite agree, if we have offload Willian too, it would be a big risk to only count on Cuadrado to tune in immediately. But we still have Willian, so as big the gamble would be to sign Cuadrado, if he is flop, we still have Willian and other players. Also yes Schurrle scored some goals this season, and some has been crucial, like the one against City (that's why part of me still want him to stay at least until the end of this season, but oh well), but the last 2 months his form has dropped considerably. Think we just have to trust Jose decision here, he trust Cuadrado better than Schurrle, so let's see what will happen. That article is just stupid, to make any judgement already. Bony will be good for City? you never know, he is even barely train at City.

bababoom 4,478
Let me guess ... Paul Parker?Haha, yep. "Manchester City spent £28m on Wilfried Bony and that is a transfer that is much more logical. He won’t play regular Champions League football because you can’t play with two strikers in Europe, but in the Premier League he could be a good partner for Sergio Aguero" No in depth analysis, he just flat out disregards the notion of playing two strikers in Europe, great insight. Pizy 18,913
You guys have to remember that most of these idiot journalists never watch anything but English football. Some of them have almost certainly never seen Cuadrado play.

das9125 50
Actually it is not surprising, those kinds of articles. South America is a little gold mine and so many players go unnoticed. What is suprising is such comments from people that dedicate their life to the sport and to watching players. We have a feeling in south america that unless a player is Brazilian or Argentinian, he really needs to fight his way to the top. It is the case for Chileans, Uruguayans, Colombians... Most people did not even know of James or Cuadrado before the WC!I remember 3-4 years ago my Brazilian friend Fellipe was telling me how much better James was than Oscar! (they were both U-20 at the time) (wrong place to be comparing Oscar? hehe) Yet my friend realized it was going to take him so much more effort to make it to the top, not being of a famous nationality. Colombia has been playing against Brazil and Argentina with these players for the past few years, and in those games they have performed better than the likes of Messi or Neymar. I was actually very surprised it took an extra 6 months to sell Cuadrado, look at Serie A 2013/2014 best performances for the whole year:http://www.whoscored.com/Regions/108/Tournaments/5/Seasons/3978/Stages/8019/PlayerStatistics/Italy-Serie-A-2013-2014And this is playing for a team with no teammates that can help you boost stats. We don't really know how good Cuadrado is yet, only now that he will play for a Top team, will it be fair to compare his stats against players in Top teams. His weaknesses may be amplified in the PL, which are lack of size and strenght. He doesn't speak English if I recall. Wishing him the best.
