TomCFC 357
Hopefully we won't miss him too much against WBA, Norwich and Sunderland, and that he'll be back for United. YuriZhirkov

bababoom 4,478
Hopefully Hilario can step us and do us proud, he did well in pre season, and he wasn't too bad in previous years,

Madmax 9,219
Hilario is more than capable of serving us well against the class of opposition we'll come up against in Cech's absence. Madmax 9,219
AVB did say 3-4 weeks, let's hope you're right.Yeah, by saying 3-4 weeks he probably means Cech will resume light training after the 3 weeks. Not sure if Czech have a fixture in the international break in between, but even if they do, Cech won't travel, which is good. Had it been any other fixture they would have allowed him an additional week's rest. But with United, we'll see him on the sheet when the day arrives. Stop getting your panties in a bunch Exactly people just overreact for the sake of it.AVB did say 3-4 weeks, let's hope you're right. He was magnificent against Man utd, Liverpool and even barca for us in the past and coupled with his impressive pre-season form, what more does Hilario have to do to gain people's respect and confidence? Laylabelle 9,536
Typical.Man U have a crappy goalie and our best goalie gets injured!! Still Hilaro is capeable he just tends to do random things at times!Hopfully thats all in the pastHe does make amazing saves then simple ones your like 'what are you doing??!'..but he's done us proud in the past...some dodgy games but we'll inore those lol
manpe 10,861
Hilario has excellent reactions, but his runs, kicks and catches are sometimes awkward... on his day he is a good sub keeper. That is exactly the kind of situation why we have backup keepers in the club, let's put them to use, they can't slack forever

I'd be wishing for Cech to be fit even if we had someone like Tim Howard as our second choice GK.
BlueLion. 21,491
Glad he'll be back soon, I love Hilario to bits but he is a liability at times. Cech offers a greater extent of security and confidence.
