iseah100 5,612
If MVG becomes a regular starter, Oscar's most likely going to the bench, with Cesc playing #10. That's literally what I just said.
sdrcfc 461
There's also the possibility of Oscar playing on the right alongside Fabregas at 10, with MVG alongside Matic. I think Schurrle would be a better option there, though.
Daniel1980 1,425
That's literally what I just said.Yeah? Sorry mate, your wording was confusing for my not-so-sober self. It's ass o'clock over here and I'm not exactly at my sharpest. I guess your "poor Cesc" part confused me. Pretty sure Fab would actually prefer that scenario.P. S. Commas are awesome. Less confusion for not-so-sober people, ya know. I only now realised that you meant "If Oscar starts poor, Cesc..." rather than "If Oscar starts, poor Cesc..." It makes more sense now. Chelsea? 892
I'm all for MVG getting a chance, but the chances of him starting in big games this season are pretty slim, unless we have many injuries. If MVG becomes a regular starter, Oscar's most likely going to the bench, with Cesc playing #10. he doesn't even need to play big games, 20+ games would be a success. I like the fact that Jose is playing him a lot though. Didn't watch the game, what position did he play?
Viper22 2,418
Yea, but he's got potential. Maybe as a 4th striker for like COC, FA Cup, and the odd league game. Why not?It would be much better for his development to go out on loan again. PL or Bundesliga preferably. Playing 5/6 games with all but 1 off the bench will do nothing for him. See how he does on his year long loan; if he does badly then he could be loaned out again or sold. If he does well then he could come in as our 3rd choice striker providing Lukaku and Costa stay and we can offoad Torres. Think Drogba will take the 3rd/4th (Torres/Lukaku dependent) striker place this year.
Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
wrong, only exception to fasting is u being sick or on travel ( u dont have to fasting in travel day only), players who didnt fast in world cup like Ozil thats because they not religious... with my respect to foriegn muslims but things different with arab muslims we respect our religion dutiesTo the gulf Arabs we're all foreign Muslims And Egyptians have nothing on Mauritanians in terms of duty during Ramadan. Long day at work-__-. Weird, I'm usually a stickler about commas, but i didn't give a fuck during that post lol. Just went back and read it and it confused me too haha. But yesMVG-MaticWillian-Cesc-Hazard could be possible if Oscar doesn't improve. It would be much better for his development to go out on loan again. Just give him a shot, fuck a loan. But it looks like Lukaku is being rewarded with his successful loans with a place in the Chelsea squad on the bench. Being a 2nd choice striker for a club like Chelsea is amazing, and he now has his chance to displace Costa and become our no.1 striker. Bamford should take the same route, he's completely unproven in the PL. I love the kid, but scoring for MK Dons and Derby is a bit different to scoring in the PL, let alone for Chelsea where teams sit deep.

I just hate that we loan players out and they don't get anything, no matter how they do. It's frustrating. Mou says he has plans for Bamford so I guess we'll see. Blue Gino 377
After enjoying seeing Boga, MVG and Baker play, it dawned on me that Mikel and Ramires are coming back. Shit. Ah well it's a nice preview of good things to come in the future tho.

Ah well it's a nice preview of good things to come in the future tho. They will need more experience first by going on loan. We're a team fighting for 4 titles with the highest level, it is very hard to achieve our target while we have to develop young players by giving them playing time here. The reason why another small or middle teams could develop young players is because they don't have such targets. We will have them in our squad when they're ready. ChelseaCasual 22
baker was industrious in the first half, was disappointed to see him get taken off but its a friendly i guess everyone needs a run.boga was industrious in the second half.matic was solid and did everything he could, hardly anybody around him helping but he didnt stop trying.our wingers and strikers made shit runs all night nobody doing anything particularly smart or productive which undid a lot of the good work baker, boga and matic were doing.in the 2nd half we were sloppy in every way possible, it was precisely the type of thing you dont want to see in pre-season friendlies.at least its only the pre-season, looking forward to seeing Chelsc Fabridgegas get a run (im trying lol he needs a solid moniker), still cant believe we got him hahahaha #FuckHerRightInTheArseanal

BlueLion. 21,491
I didn't see the game as I was on a coaching course. I know the score, but was it a decent match to watch? What were the performances like?
The Rising Sun 711
Boga is ready for first team action. If there is anything i have learnt this pre season that i am sure about, it is this!Doesnt need to be a starter, but i can imagine him coming on for 30 minutes and creating havoc. He is first team quality already.A loan will only be good as a starter in the PL, not as a sub elsewhere. He is class. We are producing our own Hazard. Wow!Second observation. Yes it is pre season, and players are finding fitness, but Zouma made a red card tackle in the first game, and last night he made another similar tackle which was close to being a last man red card type of tackle again. Not assuring at all. Can not be making such last ditch tackles in the PL, and mistiming them.

Jase 43,479
Oh come on, Hazard frequently tries to lay the ball off to someone and play the one-two. A lot of the times he either gets completely ignored or the backpass just isn't good enough.Err, I wasn't talking about the lay offs or playing one-two with others but rather being more direct, taking on players like Boga did there. We know he can do it but hardly see it.
