They could think it is hard to sign any top striker within 3 days, not to mentioned that the player price will be over the value, and could finally decided to stick with Torres and Drogba.

If we want a striker enough we'll get one. Remy has a buyout clause so that would be easy enough.

Is this meant to be as bad as Drogba's injury?

You know, the one reported where he would be injured for months on end and we would have to call the sirens for the transfer window for the replacement?

Wait, didn't Didi play against Leicester?

I don't really understand the sarcasm here. It was AS who made up the Drogba 'months out' story but that's got nothing to do with this as nobody's saying Costa's out for ages. It's just being reported that he's injured (again).

Karma really fucked us in the ass on this one

Karma for what?

There isn't anything from BBC or Sky, and if it is, then i am sure it would delay the Torres transfer.

Just think that is might be over-exaggerated like Drogba's. Guess we'll see some new links with other strikers coming out of the blue.

so from what I understand from reports; its likely to be a grade 2 tear based on intial assement which is 4-6 weeks out; but their gonna assess it fully today and it could be muscle tightness(meaning he could be ready 4 everton)

They will always give you the maximum of weeks out. Hopefully he'll be back in a shorter amount of time. This does give Mourinho a stronger case for going and getting a new addition especially with Torres potentially moving on. Falcao???

For now we'll let King Drog take charge again :-)

If Costa truly is injured (the fact that its a recurrence of a hamstring injury makes it worse) then we have no one to blame but ourselves. With all the time Mourinho has spent eulogizing over Costa in the media, we should have been going all out to sign a alternative. Aguero hasn't even started any of City's games so because Jovetic has been simply amazing but yet the media want to declare us title favourites? Baloney. You don't go to war with only one competent striker when your main title rivals have four. Hopefully, it's not a serious tear and it's just a strain. He still will miss the Everton match regardless which is a big blow.

This is a reality check of who the title favourites really are. I said before in the English football thread, We have a fantastic first eleven but as a squad city >> us

We need another striker, destro something or get ready for an even worse strikeforce than last season. Yes eto >>> Drogba
