Diego Costa

this saga is getting tiresome, Costa is as unprofessional as they get, he´s just trying to play the victim role when all of this is happening because of his shit attitude and antics, im with Conte on this, he handled this in the best way he could, maybe the text was unnecessary but it was for a reason, im sure he´s doing what is best for the club and that he doesnt tolerate bullshit from anyone, that´s autority and the players need to know whos in charge. We need to remove Costa´s toxicity from this club, we cant have any of this, there is no way back for him now, im not simply going to ignore what he did for us, by helping us win 2 league titles, i thank him for that, but his shit behaviour was always there for everyone to see, it was only a matter of time something like this happened, we dont need any of that from any of our players, no player is bigger than the club, look at our past players and tell me who has behaved like Costa, thats right, no one, and despite all his qualities as a player, he´s a toxic person. Cheers and good riddance

Funny how so called experts take some facts and completely disregard others.

Costa explained nicely he would extend. How in the hell that means he wanted to leave since 2015? Yes he wanted to leave last year, but everything else is made up, including china, it was explained in interviews.

And some people keep going at Costa based on fake facts.

That doesnt excuse Diego for talking shit in public since june.

So, after Conte stated that Costa won't stay at Chelsea and for him this "situation is closed", now the club expecting Costa "to put himself back in contention for selection"? Who will select him when the manager clearly said that he don't want Costa? This and Matic situation are getting really embarrassing.

Here We go...

a player staying at the club against his will, and not wanted by the manager anymore, its Costa after all,  so of course that will end well. Fuck this shit seriouslly, what kind of message does this send to Conte?

LOL! 😂

Even if we were living in dream land and Costa/Conte kissed, made up, and Diego stayed we'd have another huge headache with he and Morata who doesn't look nearly as good playing wide.

maybe in another universe this would be all done and dusted and we would all be happy, i just dont see it happening, and with Costa around the players and staff in the training ground, its bound to end in disaster for the team morale, this is something we clearly dont need at the moment.

It's a real shame Costa a wanker him and Morata and Hazard behind the Two of them would be a great trio

Would it? They're both outright #9's who have the ability to play with other forwards but are best as the leading man imo. I'm not sure either would be happy with that setup.

Just because he said he would extend his contract and you immediately believed him? Costa may be a fiery character but he isn't stupid. He knows what to say and how to use the media to his advantage. Not once we heard in January (or around the period) that he wanted to extend his contract. Media outlets reported the interest from China in January and it was everywhere and hell, I recall that the club president (Tianjin Quanjian, was it?) even came out and made a couple of comments about signing Costa but in the end, it didn't happen because we were in the chase for the title and the Chinese government put restrictions on the CSL clubs.

I think that's crap what Sky wrote. They apparanently want to explot our media coverage with Costa and get some people reading their articles. If club wanted Costa to stay, certain steps would've been taken much eariler.

Reason why Chelsea want Costa at the trainning ground is simple, he has a contract from which he earns 180k per week. That contract says that he needs to visit training sessions which he doesn't do, hence the fine because contract is not honored. Club wants to show him that he cannot boss them around and that is he who is employed at the club, not the other way around.

Huh?

November 2016: Chelsea boost with Diego Costa [and Thibaut Courtois] keen to sign new deals http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/11/23/chelsea-boost-diego-costa-thibaut-courtois-close-signing-new/

That's from club' mouthpiece Matt Law. Some spanish outlets reported the same thing.
