Best player , I'm fan . I doubt very much that Atletico have money to take Diego Chelsea , it is easier to us to take them players , unless the player wants to leave, there would be another story .

Yeah that was before they got the money for Martinez. So they have that money plus any extra.

He's a goner this summer for sure.

He can "want to" all he likes. They'd still have to spend £50m to get him back. If we steal their manager, however, I highly doubt he'd want to leave. It's extremely difficult to find a top class striker these days, much less pay the necessary fee to buy them. No chance will the club allow him to go. Not without bleeding a club dry.

If we sold players that weren't even getting games for us for insane amounts I can only imagine what it would take for us to sell the focal point of our team. Not happening.

If Diego Costa really wants out, the club will a find a solution. Roman doesn't force a player to stay, history repeats itself, imo.
I love Diego to bits, but his first half of the season was abysmal, Roman knows that,
furthermore his acting on the field doesn't fit in Roman's vision of being 'proper Chels', at least i don't think Roman likes his 'dirty' side.
Diego Costa keeps us away from Roman's obsession which means becoming Barcelona 2.0, playing 'tiki taka' and having more players 'lightweight' as fuck around. :)

Jose is gone, that was one of his biggest advocates, imo. If necessary, Atletico will talk to a Spanish bank, because it's not the first loan for them,
they will get the money, if they can't cover it, someone will, maybe the Germans, would be Cristiano Ronaldo all over again, they are clever, they know how to fuck us over.

Simeone managing Chelsea is highly unlikely, imo, this dude is a proper manager, like Klopp he will demand full control of the squad, which includes the transfer market.
Emenalo won't like that, he would be exposed as a fraud, imo, so Simeone won't touch this job, especially after talking to Jose, lolz.

In the worst scenario, we'll get a 'yes man' as manager and a new striker, maybe we can get Van Persie on loan, finally. :)

Shame if he does want to, we've supported him through a lot of drama and spent a lot of time and money getting him here.

But as @Essien19 just said, we'll find a solution as we always do. Implications of not having CL could be downplayed by hiring the right manager that top player will want to play for (accompanied by a few more 0's on the end of the pay check)

Yes but except for Mata none of these guys had really "made it" here.

True, but we did not "need" to sell any of these. Luiz was also someone who had made it here. Luis was our only proper Left back. None of these players wanted to stay and hence were sold. With no CL football, infact no European football, I can definitely see costa wanting to leave and we would have no option.

Quality and passion. He is by far my favourite player from this new generation of Chelsea players.

Hiddink has not done a 'good' job by any means, but he has gave new life to Costa just like he did with Drogba in 2009. Imo he is so good that if him and Hazard are in top form they can get us past PSG. Wishful thinking against two top defenders in David Luiz and Thiago Silva and them being a good side as a whole, but we have nothing to lose so lets go for it.

Next season with a competent manager and hopefully an injury free season, he will take the league by storm.

Luiz has demonstrated many times he is a terrible defender.

every player should and probably would celebrate to the extent he did, because who wouldn't celebrate when they score in the last minute or 2 vs United to bring home at least a point?

my stupid point being, that Costa wasn't showing some awe-inspiring passion for the team, he was just showing excitement for himself & his ego getting a goal, like a lot of players. Fair play obviously, but i was cringing at the rounds on Twitter with a picture of Costa captioned "This is what passion looks like." No, that's what scoring a goal looks like.
