Sideshow Luiz 2,310
I didn't really want him here, but that was more because of the fee. 2 year loan deal? Okay (depending on the loan fee, I suppose).

Georgy 439
Thankfully the website didn't work properly in last few days. When I heard Bayern got him for peanuts I went to insult the board, Emenalo and Marina in the most disgusting ways possible. All I can say is we deserve our fate, he board is trash for years now, Abramovic doesn't do anything regarding this, doesn't even bother to change things but if it's a manager who finishes 2nd he immediately sacks him, disturbing to say at least. Unionjack 7,531
New rumours of links to him starting at Germany Sky Sports Chelsea and Arsenal linked with James Rodriguez – who rejects Bayern move https://readchelsea.com/2018/06/29/chelsea-and-arsenal-linked-with-james-rodriguez-who-rejects-bayern-move/
OneMoSalah 8,888
Odd hes rejected a move to Bayern, thought it would more or less be a formality after how often he played there. Maybe he will go back to Real? Who knows? Would take him here 10000% though, guy is an absolutely class footballer.
!Hazard! 3,394
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6594675/Arsenal-eye-James-look-Mesut-Ozil-replacement.html If they are right, and there is a possibility to get this lad for £3m for 6 months of loan, the club should hijack this deal immediately. We desperately need a creative force like James to break up bus parking teams. He could easily play LCM, RW, LW or even false 9 under Sarri. He's also left footed attacking minded player which is something we are dearly missing right now Also, we cannot allow Arsenal to get James. He would make Arsenal more convincing candidate for top4 finish
kellzfresh 7,229
I've been wondering why we're not in for him. Set piece specialist, dead-ball specialist, Creates a lot of chances and can score goals, has played in the left of a midfield three before under Ancelloti and got 15 goals and 15 assists. Proven, why we're not even linked with him boggles the mind really.

We are not ever going to spend that type of money for him, unless Bayern exercises their £39.5m (dirt cheap!!!) buy option then sells him to use (trade CHO for him straight up as CHO is probably gone, even if he stays, £39.5m is half or maybe a wee bit bit over half of what James is worth). We are now looking at scrubs like Rogerio (LB on loan from Juve at Sassuolo, where is he is part-time starter on a shit team). The board is packing it in. Pulisic buy is a marketing ploy that will pay for itself. We are looking at a fat, 30-something massively in decline CF as our saviour, which has added benefit to Milan of them now buying Piatek probably, and Juve clearing their books for even more world-class spending. Sideshow Luiz 2,310
I'm not his biggest fan, but this guy is a no-brainer upgrade to Barkley. Maybe in the summer, isn't his loan deal expired then? Madird don't seem to want him.

We should get him on loan now and swap CHO after they exercise option in summer CHO is leaving anyway, might as well get fair value

!Hazard! 3,394
£40m for a player like James feels almost like cheating in today's market. I mean, how can a teenager straight out of academy like CHO with barely any first team football experience be worth as much as a proven world class player and a former World Cup golden boot winner? James isn't exactly old either, at 27 he's only about to hit his prime now. If CHO must go then I'm definitely in favour of the swap with James. I am quite sure CHO will never be as good as James. But a swap deal is very complicated and too much of a long shot . All parties must agree and I don't see why James would see us as his best option over Real and Bauern.

Still, that only returns him to Madrid where they can be other suitors that would raise his price.
