iseah100 5,612
Mata assisted Drogba in the CL final, I prefer watching games to looking at stats tbf.He didn't just say stats. Heavily marked, no one making runs, what can he do? He was terrible on set pieces though. Daniel1980
Term-X 7,891
He was a bottler at Arsenal, Barca.. is he going to continue the trend over here. Everton, City and now United, all the big PL games thus far and he's gone missing. We've always had players with the right mentality, Cesc never had it. Term-X 7,891
Obviously it's the heat of the moment now, but it can't really be denied that he's never had an appetite for the big occasions.
Daniel1980 1,425
Mata assisted Drogba in the CL final, I prefer watching games to looking at stats tbf.If you watched the game, you probably saw how heavily marked he was. Drogba doesn't run and we didn't play Andre. He had no one to pass to. We scored thanks to his corner kick.He was a bottler at Arsenal, Barca.. is he going to continue the trend over here. Everton, City and now United, all the big PL games thus far and he's gone missing. We've always had players with the right mentality, Cesc never had it.You have a selective memory. He wasn't great vs. Everton, but he assisted Costa with a through-ball. He was nothing special today, but he assisted vs. United. Against City we played too negatively, but he was good defensively and created the only moment we had besides the goal when Costa nearly scored. He assisted against Arsenal with a sublime through-ball. One sub-par game and it's suddenly a trend. This is silly. And I thought he was solid against City. Not his fault the tactics against City were negative. Though I got some stick for saying so, others thought he was impressive against City.He was poor today though. Fabregas doesn't have that ability to control the midfield, sadly, like a Modric or Kroos. Players who's contribution goes further than what stats provide. He's a different kind of player. dee25 and Barbara
Dion 2,476
He was poor today but he has been good or decent in other tough matches. You guys are letting his fame cloud your judgements. Everyone was a bottler at that Arsenal because the team sucked and Barcelona didn't suit him. Anyhow, even if it was true and he was a bottler it's not impossible to change. Just look at Robben. ChelseaFC12 134
Fabregas was awful but still got his 8th assist of the season in 9 games.
123-blue 19
Woeful today. He's 27 and surely he should be able to put up better than that display.Playing him without additional defensive cover in away games is asking for trouble. He is not a midfield controller, more a flat track bully.

MrBlueGuy 1,552
Maybe now we see why Barca sold him and it was not just knee jerk, haters trying to hate at all...In el classico this is the type of performance he put in regularly as well
Cosmin 2,484
He can still improve under Mourinho.
dee25 1,044
It was hard for him in the first half but I thought he got better in the 2nd. Cesc is the sort of player that will improve under Mourinho though. Ainsley Harriott and Barbara

Share Posted October 26, 2014 So Fabregas does bad in one big game and he is automatically branded a bottler? He was awful today but let's not go there please. iseah100, Milan, Ainsley Harriott and 9 others
OneMoSalah 8,886
Fucking hell, we signed him and for about 3 months he was the best thing since sliced bread then one poor performance against Manchester United and people are saying he never shows up in the big games and they can see why Barca sold him and all this stuff? Lets forget how he has brought our team up to a different level yeah sure.... and that he has 8 assists in 9 games.... We also have one fucker posting Thiago Alcantara? Jesus fucking christ. Fuck Thiago Alcantara. Daniel1980, Barbara and jeronimo
