Mata's departure also meant a cut of roughly 15 goals in a season (not all ending up in direct assists for Mata of course).Fabregas would make the team a lot more dangerous from open play though.In terms of set pieces, Koke would have been immense. We still need to get someone able to put a good ball in. Cesc isnt a specialist in free-kicks. Mou always had one in his teams. With Real Madrid Özil/Ronaldo/Xabi and with Inter he had Sneijder.
