If I am correct, he would be our highest paid player. He is good, but £150k max should suffice.

What you have to remember is that we can never know for sure what their wages are. I think he will probably be on £150k anyway, the 200k a week rumour just came from some newspaper

I mean, does anyone seriously think Rooney is on 300k a week? It's only because some newspapers think so, not sure how they would know

Uh-Oh

Manchester United have moved ahead of Chelsea as they attempt to sign Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, 27, because they will not be in next season's Champions League and are not viewed as direct rivals by the La Liga club. Daily Express

looks like a garbage article. quotes like "united could be in the driving seat" sum it up.

From what is known, Chelsea has offered Costa 150 thou a week for 5 years.

As reported, Cesc gets 200 thou a week. If true, how can Cesc be paid more than any other player on Chelsea´s roster?

I'm sure it was reported that Torres' contract states that he has to be equal to the highest earner at Chelsea. Looks like he could be getting a pay rise soon.

Outrageous if Torres ends up playing next season with a pay-raise. <_<
