Real change attacking flair players every year for big money, it's no surprise when they sell players like Di Maria to accomodate new shiny flavour of the month players. Defence is the only position that has stayed fairly stable over the years and I doubt they will look to bury big money in there, as that doesn't make them more "attractive". If Real had any sense, they would drop that disgrace of a football player Pepe sooner rather than later and promote Varane to full-time starter to keep hold of him.

I'm afraid acquiring Varane will be nearly impossible, but as you said, in football you never know.
