Ollie 4,400
If Jose had stayed in charge in 07/08 that team would've been the best ever. Unfortunately that turned out to be the most heartbreaking season ever. The 04/05 season was our best season though because we just never looked like losing or conceding. We were so ruthless then. And as some people have put teams up, i'll say that my best in this era would beCech Ivanovic - Carvalho - Terry - Cole Essien - Makelele - Lampard Robben - Drogba - Hazard

Ollie 4,400
We've had some ridiculously good players if you go on 'peaks' Zola, Ballack, Gullit, Hoddle, Shevchenko, Torres, Drogba, Weah, Desailly, Vialli, Deschamps etc etc if we had all of these 5 years before we got them... quite something to think about. And even managers when you look at the likes of Mourinho, Ancellotti, Scolari, Hoddle, Gullit. Since Hoddle signed Ruud Gullit in 1995 and he started the foreign revolution, we've signed some serious names. Even Eto'o, Crespo, Hughes, Veron, Deco, some huge names have marked this club. Pacquiao 1,834
Perfect team!!(maybe put zola instead of robben or as sub!) each at their prime better than any team under the sun I would have Zola in there but i done mine in the Abramovich era. zolayes 14,489
Our team in 2007/08 was the best team we have ever had:Cech/Cudicini/HilarioBelletti/Ferreira/Bosingwa - Terry/Ben Haim - Carvalho/Alex - Cole/BridgeMakelele/Mikel/EssienLampard/Essien/Malouda - Ballack/Essien/ColeAnelka/Shevchenko/SWP - Drogba/Shevchenko/Pizarro - Joe Cole/Kalou/MaloudaIf we had that team today, we'd walk the league. our second team would have made top easily

The Skipper 20,609
Makelele >>>>>>>>>>> EssienAs a pure DM, sure, but I loved the midfield 3 of Essien, Ballack and Lampard as they could all rotate and effect the final third. Offensively, Essien >>>>>>>>>>> Makelele.

Henrique 9,133
I'd say Ferreira. Belletti shouldn't even be up for discussion.Joker or what? Ferreira?Best right back was Essien when he was playing in that position. After him, I would say Ivanovic, despite his lack of attacking instincts, he has been consistent for the last 4 or 5 years.
