Our last 10 league games against Newcastle sort of illustrate Alex's point and not to mention, only 1 home win in last 4 against them...

L - Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea

L - Newcastle 3-2 Chelsea

W - Chelsea 2-0 Newcastle

L - Chelsea 0-2 Newcastle

W - Newcastle 0-3 Chelsea

D - Chelsea 2-2 Newcastle

D - Newcastle 1-1 Chelsea

W - Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea

D - Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle

W - Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea

P.S. Disagree with the point about that 3-0 win flattered us though..

4 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses isn't the most impressive record, either - 15 points out of 30!

Is it not west brom away on tuesday and city next weekend?

My bad. In that case, forget everything I said.

Indeed. But since it was @CHOULO19, you gotta forgive him. He's feeling butthurt because I'm now @The Skipper's bitch and not his...

You're such a...a...bitch! :(

need to start playing everybody in our squad(all combos to be strong enough) ....till the end of the 2nd leg against galastray we got all tough matches...infact west brom seems like the only easy one!!

this is the marathon thats gonna give a very clear picture of where our season is going......

excuses not going to cut it any more....

14 to go.....1 liverpool, 1 arsenal, 1 totenham ...min of 36 points needed...

+ side....here is the point in season when chelsea gets going...

in jose we trust :)

I really don't like Newcastle and Pardew. Hope we put half a dozen past them which really isn't unrealistic with the amount of chances we create. All we need is to be clinical in the final third. We could really use a boost to our GD.

We will have some serious incentive regardless off the score at Anfield.

Liverpool win and we can leapfrog Arsenal.

Arsenal win and we can go 9 points clear in the top 3.

Draw and we could potentially create clear daylight between us and Liverpool and leapfrog Arsenal. That will take a 3 goal win for us.

Either way, get our job done and we have benefitted from the Anfield match whatever the score.
