Chelsea spent the summer of 2017 unsuccessfully pursuing Virgil van Dijk and Kalidou Koulibaly to bolster Conte’s defensive options.

Dang how we would have done with Conte if we had gotten those two. 🙁

Van Dijk was never coming here because of our instability and plus, Conte was/can be such a gloomy/grumpy character compared to someone like Klopp.

As for Koulibaly, he was just too expensive and the club didn't want to spend that much I guess.

Zouma x Silva is such a good CB partnership. Hope Zouma soaks in all of Silva's excellence. Another top top performance. So happy he's back on the right path. Looks like our best CB atm.

Christensen annoyed me big time as so called Ball playing CB. Zouma made more forward pass than him.
