Also good start is one thing but keeping it going is another too. Remember Costa, something like 15 goals in 1st 12 games or something but then now 5+ games without a goal. I am not doubting Salah but lets see if he can keep this up until end of the season.

Fiorentina have tough games coming up against Lazio, Roma (x2), AC Milan, Juventus and Napoli. Doubt he'll continue scoring at the current rate but he'll pop up with a few here and there.

If this is his strength he would be a Chelsea legend here...we are the home of bus parking counter attacking football.

Juve, not Fiorentina. Even when we do defend deep, very few teams leave this much space against us. In fact, it's very hard to find teams (Arsenal maybe) that make the naive mistakes Juve did today. For example, the first goal was from a Juve corner where they had only left ONE player back. That's suicide.

But take nothing away from Salah who capitalized very well on the mistakes. The run for the first goal was just brilliant.

I'm happy for Salah, he goes to Fiorentina, gets regular opportunities and takes his chances in front of goal

At Chelsea, he barely got a chance other than cups...you can't expect him to sit on the bench for 5+ games and then suddenly come into the team and perform

Seems like the majority thought he should come on and turn the game around, despite having not played a game for over a month.

No common sense whatsoever.

Seeing he and KdB slaying it elsewhere would be so hard to take if we weren't doing so well without them.

Not sure Salah was/is good enough to be a regular for us and I don't care either way if he comes back or is sold. As for De Bruyne I'd pull a Matić and have him back in an instant as our #10 next season.

All I know is that here he looked like someone who just started playing professionally, so how can anyone suggest we need him back now? he didn't improve as a player in 1 month. If he's coming back next season, it will be the same story I'm sure. Playing in a smaller team in different system makes players look better and it might be his level.

It seems he loves space and is deadly on the counter. Most of the time we played him against smaller teams and he was shit, no strength on the ball and annoyingly used to shoot off target a lot.

The only big games we gave him was against Liverpool and arsenal and he played well in both and even scored against arsenal. Luckily for him people don't park the bus against florentina so he has all that space, but his finishing is what has shocked me the most. He's even looking more clinical than almost everyone in our team.

The question is, can we recall him and refuse Fiorentina's option to buy?

No one knows expect the two clubs in question. If a clause is written in the loan deal, we're powerless.

Salah scored 6 goals and assisted 1 in 7 match coming of the bench 3 of them.He won for them Inter and juve away and is scoring every match so basically he is Messi. Even when he played Chelsea he got goal scoring opportunity but he didn't finish because the manager didn't have confidence in him. Remember when he first signed he scored 2 goals and was good before he got benched forever.

Im sure mourinho didnt want to let him go, he knew that he had the talent and after de bruyne he was catious. But salah forced to go because of playing time and since fiorentina didnt want to sell cuardrado he offered them salah and the money

Worst case scenario:is value increases significantly and sold for good profit. Best case scenario:he returns to chelsea and defies the odds by replicating his fiorentina form or something close to it. win win situation. In a perfect world, I had hope the latter scenario is the case.

Fiorentina Coach:

Salah is in a state of grace and we hope he can continue. He has settled in very well. We knew that he was a good player, but honestly his immediate impact has gone beyond expectations. We didnt expect him to be that good

LoL fiorentina is laughing all the way to the bank...
