In all seriousness, how many people have seen him play extensively?

Some of the comments on this forum clearly show that several people know little to nothing about it, other than the fact he scored against us.

Unless anyone here live in Swit, the answer is 0. If anyone even dare to come out and claim they watch him weekly :D

I have watch most of his games, and ALL of his games for Egypt. I am Egyptian, so I am more than happy he is coming to Chelsea. He has a lot to offer from what I have seen and know.

Lol reading through this thread is kinda silly, people really have no idea how good this kid is.

If you remember 2 years ago when Hazard came to your club, he wasn't as good as Salah is now. Hazard had horrible UCL performances especially against bigger clubs. The fact that Salah was able to show up in big matches should alone be enough to get excited over him.

Also, one of Salah's biggest advantages is his speed, and in the EPL where it's a much more open game, this kid will shine. This also allows for Mourinho to play with 2 legit wingers and allow schurrle and oscar to play as CAM

This is so out of the blue. the lad is a cracking player, the closest to Robben you're ever going to get. if you ask me, who I'd rather see on the right wing; Mata or Salah? Salah any day. he really is something, shocked we've signed him.

There are good points of buying Salah like having 80mio new fans and all, but in terms of team building, I just dont see the point. If he is going to play 45min a month, that is a lot of money. Especialy when we have Hazard, Moses, Bertrand who could all be 5th option. In fact, Mou doesnt need them now and probably wont need them in thr future. I doubt Mou will give chance to any of youth players we have...I seriously doubt. If he goes to BUY a 5th choice player instead of giving a chance to youth players, and on top, Salah is nothing realy special. He is good for 5th spot, but that is all. He looks like Moses mk2 or sth, rather than a proper replacement for Mata; even for the bench.

And lastly, why arent we putting some money into Lb and St if Mou wants to rebuild this team so quickly?

@LalkovicMilan09: Buy buy buy buy buy

The lad ain't even good enough for our reserves and is now having a go at the club for buying another player for his position? Fuck off.

I know that he's your countryman and you obviously are biased towards him. But better than Hazard?

I feel sorry for Salah on two levels.

1) Going from Mata to Salah is underwhelming to say the very least. A lot of fans with direct their anger towards this guy, but he really isn't the problem.

2) He simply won't develop properly with Hazard/Willian ahead of him. He needs constant game time and, bar a massive injury plague, he won't get that here.
