IMO far more valuable player than at first sight. 

But for that money at this age and he is clearly declining...probably good business.

However we need to spend that money now on quality experienced midfielder, because we realy need one.

Don't like selling to title rival but it make sense financially.

We probably set 40 m as the price. Juve only want to pay 20 m. There is no other party willing to go to at that price except united similar to k. Walker transfer. 

As long as we spend the money for a good player, this can be a brilliant transfer

40m for a player who has declined so much he is only average at best and this only a few games per year so yeah, this is really decent business. I don't mind having him at Utd where Mourinho is once again assembling squad of twiggy beanpoles.

Don't care about the money. Chels have been making a lot of money lately but it's not like it's being spent on securing top class additions. But those are just my views as a fan who only cares about the happenings on the pitch. Maybe the club actually needs this money.

We will see. I think it can go in both directions. Jose's short-termism moving Utd up places or his overrated and/or overpriced beanpoles (Pogba, Lukaku, Matic, Fellaini among others) imploding under the pressure. Jose is not known to get the best out of young players but rather squeeze the best out of finished products. He doesn't have many of those at Utd. They still have not enough players to unlock packed defenses, one could say even less without Ibrahimovic. I wish them all the worst.

Seeing a lot of the same thing on Twitter. Also things like "He was an absolutely vital part of Chlesea's team last year. One of their best players." 

I think he'll do very well initially but his shortcoming will become apparent as the season goes on. He's a definite upgrade on Fellaini and Carrick at his age so I still think it was dumb to sell him there. He's not going to elevate their overall level like all their fans are now saying. When they play quick passing, highly mobile midfields theyll struggle.

And although Chelsea is part of his history, Matic seemed to make a dig at his old team-mates.
