Most if not all of the goals that we have conceded in the past month have come from individual mistakes from the back four.We do need a CB. Maybe not in Jan, but certainly in the summer. He was young and clearly not good enough when we trade him. Leaving us was better for him. In Benfica he worked hard and progressed a lot so we need him. Not because I don't like Guarin or anything, I just prefer us having versatile options in the future. Ginkel, Matic, Rami and Baker are all pretty nice choices to rotate. Along with Mikel and Lamps. BleedsBlue 1,549 Posted January 6, 2014 Share Posted January 6, 2014 We of all clubs should really not care what other people think.Our owner has sacked managers like it was nothing and we've bought players for insane amounts(Torres) There is no reason why we should feel 'embarrassed" just because a young talent couldn't break into a star studded team.If anything we should learn from this mistake and put in a buy-back clause for some of the young talents we have.
