Newcastle and WBA were supposed to be the games that were going to take us to the top of the table while Arsenal played some thougher games

extremely disappointing

at this point winning the league seems like a farfetched dream

Perhaps, Jose is the only one who sees positives from these games ? Just listen to him.

As far as I can see, Chelsea are not playing well, at all. Were very lucky in several games too.

Oscar should start every single big game, his work-rate is irreplaceable. But against teams like West brom, he really doesn't offer us what we need.

I think this is the most diplomatic way of putting it. We had 69% possession in the 1st half according to the broadcast I was watching. He cannot penetrate a defense with his dribbling or pinpoint passing. These are the games Mata needs to start behind the striker, end of story.

All I am saying is maybe you shouldn't worship Mou like God and actually see some negative points in him, he is not perfect just as nothing is.

The positive is that we know we can play better than that.

And that we got a point which we were lucky to get in the end. If man u can do us a favour tommorrow. No major harm has been done. But we are like jekyll and Hyde right now. Some games we look like we could score 5 and 6 and other games we look useless.

And I think the lineup should have been good enough whoever we pick to play.

I don’t by this Jose can’t build an attacking team blah…if he can’t nobody can. Yes we should’ve won the match as the Newcastle one which was much easier but WBA under Clark is a different team. They are hard to beat and they already proved it by winning away at oldtrafrod and getting a draw against Le Ares.

We are team in transition full of young kids who need to learn step by step Jose or someone else cannot do magic. When you don’t score a one-one situation and be wasteful in front of goal that’s what will happen. It’ll take some time to fine tune this team, get them to function properly. I am sure nobody better than Jose can implement that winning mentality and fighting attitude into these players.

we are almost a third way into the season ...My worry is I can't see any improvement in our play despite the excellent results in October we were rarely convincing .

I feel the next two months are going to be absolutely crucial and the last two PL games have drained my confidence ...

I was out when the game was on so thought I would have to wait till match of the day. Then when I got home user it's on game of the fat, and we are hardly ever on that unless we have got beaten or some rubbish has happened it's always to embarrass us never because we did great.

I said 'bet we ******** lost' so I wasn't surprised sadly when they scored and then again. The ref was once again am absolute joke, the tackles he allowed West Brom were a joke, tackle tackle final warning, was a joke. A guy falls over and he instantly books Frank. Absolute joke. It was another terrible performace I find it hard to believe we have great game against Shalke and then another easy 3 points so close to be wasted AGAIN. If the ref hadn't finally come to his senses giving us a penalty, can't remember wishing for a point so much. If Arsenal win tomoz they will be way ahead, what were they doing? i did find it very hard to pick a man of the match do I haven't voted.

If results don't fall our way we could well be 8th within 18hours. Teams like Southampton and Liverpool are above us, who are ok but surely not the teams we should compare ourselves with.

Cech is clearly not getting any better and it is time to question if he is the bet we should take when we have the chance between him and Courtois, who is already at Cech's level.

This is just not good enough from every part of the team. I think Cech, the whole defense, Lampard and Oscar were poor. And this time we did not lack effort but class. It seems everyone including Mou has taken this game too lightly. This is the kind of match, a Mourinho team usually wins 1-0. But we lack the engine in midfield and the flawlessness of the D that usually characterize his teams. If we don't adress these issues by either including some new players or finding tactical solutions, we will not win anything this season.
