Samuel Eto'o

The way he speaks and answers questions is quite different to any player whose done these first interviews in the past. He speaks like a manager.

I think he's going to be absolutely fantastic to have around for the younger lads. Especially Lukaku.

his Spanish is flawless :P (ofc I know that's because of his time in La Liga, still flawless and not accented at all)

and am I wrong or didn't SSN confirm the fee for Willian was 25.6 or something around the 25m pounds and still people keep talking about 32m for both. 6-7m is what Eto'o will make in wages - we don't know how much Willian does, so it makes no sense to have an amount that includes one player's wages and the other not.

So both came for around 25m as far as I can say + wages.

That's great business in my book :P

I don't have one single complaint about the names we did sign this summer. I wish we had added another DM in the pivot, but I think we can work with the guys we have. They'll definitely improve tactically under Mourinho and possibly even technically.

edit: btw is there a way in Windows 7 to hear to the sound channels separately? The translator guy missed tons and I'd like to hear it straight from Samuel

willian cost around 35-37 m euros (so 30-32 m pounds)

Now that we have Eto'o we can get rid of Torres and Ba no problem !!

Imagine tomorrow you wake up and all you see on all the major footballing websites is : FERNANDO TORRES IS SURPLUS TO REQUIREMENTS

:wank2::wank2::wank2:

Thinking it's stretching it to say Ba and Torres will go because we signed Eto'o. Ba looks like the casualty as a result of this purchase, unfortunately, while Torres will stay unless we get another ST in.

Sky Sports said he only cost about 25m pounds.

yeah you are right. at first they said 30 m and then 25.5. most of the papers still report on 30-32 m so who knows.

Think I saw somewhere saying it is 25m but another 5m or so as add ons/bonus and stuff like that.

Im not saying that they will go but how i see it... With Eto'o now, we have 5 forwards (including Schurrle) And personally i think Ba and Torres just arent good enough !! But then again we dont know how Sami is gonna do ..

Don't think that's a personal opinion. It's an opinion of all Chelsea fans really. And Schurrle isn't considered or shouldn't be considered as a ST at all given his main role is a wide player. He can play at ST but that's not his main position. If we don't get in another ST, then Ba will unfortunately go and Torres stays. We'll then have Eto'o, Lukaku and Torres as STs.

the most reliable source in England disagrees with you

Chelsea have completed the signing of Brazil forward Willian from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala for a fee thought to be in the region of £25.5m.

edit: sorry didn't see Jay had already corrected you - and you replied to him. I clicked on the notification bell (that I keep thinking is a slice of pizza) and then I answered. my bad
