thats kinda normal isnt it? after a CL win, tons of titles etc you wouldnt expect somebody to be the same as 10 years before? we have established ourselves as a world-brand. it aint just the fans. its the club. dont act like the fans are just glory-hunters if you follow our club, you can clearly the see the way we are going

and yeah all people should just accept every transfer and be happy. why not shutting down this board than already, if people are not allowed to discuss a transfer and even bring arguments who are kinda valid? it hasnt got to do with depression or stuff like that. there are people on the board who actually have seen Etoo play and dont think that he is the Etoo from inter/barca days..big surprise I know. and Mourinho has had some nice flops under his reignment (Quaresma for example).

before the window started nearly all people were clear that ST and DM are our MAIN problems. now we are near to the end of the window and we have:

1 new striker who is probably etoo, has played in a shit league for 2 years and is past his prime. great, we should all be happy and satisfied and mourinho will fix everything and all and will turn Mikel in to a passing-beast and will get Essiens dynamic back

we did not try to sign de rossi. mourinho confirmed that he is satisfied with the DMs we have.

yeah we tried rooney but we knew it was not possible from day one. we let slip away people like falcao, cavani etc etc. even gomez would have been an update on our striker force, especially for 20 m euro.

our DMs are awful. ramires is a great b2b, but he is not creative. essien is past it. MVG is a young lad and wont improve us now but maybe in the future. and mikel is good for destroying but he cant build-up a game or put creativity in it even if his life would depend on it.

I figured Ba would surprise me and bang them in for us but that obviously didn't happen. If Eto'o gets off to a fast start and scores a few in his first few matches then I'll be on board.

Now we have Torres, Ba, Eto'o, Schurrle and Lukaku. Decent business, with a net spend of about £15 million on forwards (Ba and Schurrle, approx £27m).

People outside and away from Chelsea (even some, but very few, people on here) thought Kagawa would be a 'gem' and offer as much as Hazard or even more for much less price.

The same people thought Holtby would end up being a bargain who'd quickly outshine Oscar and that we should have been looking at that deal instead.

When we signed Azpilicueta, there was an outrage from so many of our fans that we didn't get Maicon who had a below-average Premier League stunt with City.

I know it's early days, but during pre-season and the few weeks the Premier League has been back, I've seen nothing from Fernandinho, even Paulinho (although he has been better than City's new midfielder) etc. to suggest they were the sort of players we should have gone for to fill our central midfield. Ramires is completely outshining both of them. In fact, I'd say he's been the best central midfielder so far this season.

Look at the first 2 players, Kagawa and Holtby, now. Being linked away with loan moves today while Hazard & Oscar continue to be 2 of the best players in Europe.

Maicon has now gone from City bench-warmer to Roma aka 'Europa League place' hopefuls.

The board seem to know what they're doing (finally ). I trust them and Jose completely with this transfer. We continue to sign and play proper top calibre players while our rivals are typically signing overrated players (like the ones i listed) and ones who never fulfilled their potential; Navas, Negredo, Flamini :lol2:

Sometimes you just have to sign an ageing geezer full of experience who still has his shooting boots on while your rivals sign deadwood; like United did when they signed Van Persie and their rivals went for Ba, Marin, Sinclair, Giroud etc. That one signing in Van Persie completely lifted them above their rivals despite United not strengthening anywhere else really. Eto'o will do the same for us.
