CHOULO19 24,332
The official Chelsea account is following him and has been retweeting some of his stuff, so I think it is himJust been reading through his tweets now responding to the fans. As @CHOULO19 said, seems like a nice guy!But how come he's answering in English when he could not speak English in his first interview with the club? John1611 77
But how come he's answering in English when he could not speak English in his first interview with the club? Many people can understand written English at a good level, and even write themselves, but if it came to the actual speaking of the language they would struggle a lot. It used to be like this with me for instance, and probably is similar with Eto'o. After learning English at school for 7-8 years you can basically write and understand most words, tenses, etc but speaking wise you can only string a few sentences together. A bit like mastering theory of football from textbooks but not being able to play the actual game.I think members whose first language isn't English, would probably agree with me. Indeed, when you write it you have a lot more time to come up with an answer then in a conversation. John1611

DDA 9,941
I personally am a huge fan of this man as a footballer from his past but just a quick question to some of the standard fickle fans of Blue...Why is it ok for Eto'o to speak pure shit about our club but it wasn't for Rafa Benitez??.... sooo strange what our fans decide to like and dislike at times.Or is it that we actually learned from our lesson with Rafa and have decided to give Samuel a chance before we place his head on the chopping board.! OneMoSalah 8,886
Reckon this guy will roll back the years under Jose. Jose got a lot of good and great performances out of Eto'o when he was at Inter, hoping he can do something similar with him again.

But (im only speaking for myself) when i found out Rafa was Chelsea manager i put that all for one side, focused on the positives he had as a manager and got on with supporting him (while he was here) and the team. For me it's the same with Eto'o, it will be more respect for the job he does (like with Rafa) than love.To put it simpler Eto'o's my striking Rafa while Drogba's my Mourinho. Liverpool - We hate them so much, particularly when he was still held in high esteem by the bin dippers.2. His comments were much more personal in their nature, criticising us fans, whereas Eto'o's comment is much more general.3. Benitez replaced Di Matteo, a club legend who a few months prior had won us the Champions League. The Skipper and Barbara

Eto'o was angry, whereas Benitez was fairly incisive. Barbara, The Skipper and kellzfresh
