why play Ba if he's reportedly off to roma?

Because he gives us the best chance of winning the game? Ba is more experienced then Lukaku.

How about we all have a little bit of fucking faith in the manager for once and respect his decision? He gets paid to pick the team, not us.

we are just suprised abit since most of us tought it would be lukaku today and that has nothing to do with respect for the manager

This is the third time i am saying this on this topic... Aston Villa is not a team to underestimate.

And to add something controversial... We will win 6-0 for sure! Keep your heads up lads, FSW is not here anymore anad we have Jose sitting at the dugout.

Lukaku should have started etc is questioning the manager.

I'm not picking a fight, I'm just saying judge the team selection after the game. Ba is a good front man aswell, and lets be fair, its just fantastic not to see Torres on the starting eleven or the bench. That cancer is finally getting out of our club.

The reason for Moses not being on the bench isn't a mystery. Schurrle is the better player in many people's and probably Mourinho's eyes. This is what depth does.

Schurrle played most of last season on the left and played perfectly fine on the weekend when he came on deployed mainly on the right. In fact, vs Hull City he proved that he can be an impact player coming off the bench. With a slightly rotated forward line this game (Mata for De Bruyne, Ba for Torres), we need at least some bench consistency in case the forwards fails to produce and get the chemistry going, hence Schurrle being there to just potentially pick up where he left off last time if needed. No need to take up a substitute spot with Moses who doesn't offer as much as Schurrle.

Also, after Schurrle's little time out during pre-season, coming on vs. Hull City was a good way start to regaining his fitness. Should he come on today, he should be ready for a start vs. Manchester United should Mourinho see fit as he'll want high work-rate players for that game (I'm being bold and guessing it'll be Hazard, Oscar, Schurrle for the Utd game.)
