Finally Fantasy premier league is back. Stuck between who to make my captain either Lukaku or JT?

I would go with Lukaku. In top form.

I am going in with Sturridge, Newcastle and pool have been high scoring games in the recent past!! Hope that continues and Sturridge bangs in a couple!!

Looks like I'm now in the top 300 of the Overall league even though I still have Dawson left and will be getting two points from Shaw once he replaces Zabaleta. With over three million participants that's not too bad.

You are one lucky guy

A little bit of luck and balls to try something the majority of players won't. Having discovered gems like Coleman, Ramsey, Lukaku (at Everton) etc. way before most players did as well as having all the usual suspects such as Özil, Giroud and Sturridge from the start I now have a team as mainstream as it gets so I need to be a little more adventurous with my captain selections if I want to keep moving up the table in the Overall league. Making Hazard my captain wasn't even that much of a gamble when you think about it because we're talking about a player who has recently looked like he's regaining his top form and now had a home game against a bottom half team so what's not to like? Most people don't even have him in their teams anymore so to get 36 points from him was amazing.

But yeah, I've gotten lucky with some players lately. For example, Ramsey and Oscar started on the bench today but they ended up with 11 and 6 points respectively.

I agree I don't really see having Eden as captain as much of a gamble. But I saw your comment previously suggesting that he will eventually come good, and you choose the correct week!

I brought in Willian and put Oscar on the bench, because I knew Oscar would be saved for Schalke + the amount of games he's played & int.travelling. I consider that a gamble, but it backfired in the end with Oscar scoring.

just lost 11 points because I changed my captain. It has been Suarez since he was back from his ban, then today I decided to go with Giroud for a change.

FML

Still 58 points isn't that bad... but it could have been 69

68 points without Suarez in the team  Yaya, Zabaleta, Michu yet to play

I have Eden, Oscar and Zaba for tomorrow. For Chelsea's own good, I hope to score tons of points again (not from Zaba :P)

I dropped Yaya for Eden. Hope it doesn't bite me in the arse.

Eden v Zabaleta direct battle today. Wouldn't be surprised if he scores, he's in form atm

68 points this week. All of my strikers scored a goal and all three defenders kept a clean sheet but the midfield failed me this time around with only 15 points coming from four players.

Thinking about transferring out Olivier Giroud. I've had him from the beginning and in that time his price has gone up from 8.5 to 9.6 so I would lose a lot of money if I sold him now for a mere 9.0 and I probably wouldn't be able to afford him if I wanted him back later. That move could backfire on me badly if he kept playing and scoring goals but keeping him doesn't sound that good an option either because Arsenal have very tough PL fixtures coming up, not to mention their vital Champions League games against the likes of Napoli and Dortmund which could force Wenger to rotate his team a bit. I also have Özil and Ramsey from Arsenal so one of them has to go and Giroud would probably be the easiest to replace. Benteke maybe?
