It's beneficial for both parties. 

Maybe at the end of the day, I just don't care. The type of people that end up following a team because of the brand exposure aren't the type of people I want to associate with. People who place too much stock into branding, sponsorships and marketing are also people that I don't want to associate with. I don't care now, I won't care in the future. It is the culmination of loss of identity and loss of 'soul' of every football team. Besides, any company is elevated by Chelsea, especially if it's the likes of Umbro, Le Coq (best brand) or whatever second tier.

Warrior is primarily a hockey brand. They are by no means a small company. Heard of New Balance? Yeah of course you have, they are NB's hockey brand. Liverpool was literally their first foray into football.

I have friends that buy Chelsea jersey because of the look. They are not Chelsea fans but Arsenal, United and such.

This is the good thing about our colors and jersey as to oppose ugly United, Arsenal and Liverpool jersey.

And not to forget that blue tends to be a favorite color for a lot of people.

Liverpool were being ridiculed over Warrior, because people hate Liverpool. The same would happen to us. But if we were to get Under Armour and that season win the Premier League, I don't think people would perceive it as a loss in stature, especially when there's a possibility that we could be still be the top selling shirt in the country and have the largest kit contract.

Cant be real Arsenal or United fans. I dont care how good a shirt looks, I would never wear a rival shirt.

I don't think they're any lower. I just think that the top of our sponsorship stretches further across the chest than the others. The top of the Chevrolet logo is probably in line with ours, it's just the bulk of the logo is further down than the bulk of ours. Same goes for the Jeep. The top of the J looks to be about the same height, it's just the rest of the logo is lower than the top.

Think of it this way: If the Tyres was on top of Yokohama, our logo would look lower.

I find it surprising that adidas parted ways so easily, considering the sales (if those numbers are true, our kit sales went up by 39%).

Anyway, another fun fact is that Under Armour EU representative is apparently ex-vitesse director.

Its also surprising how people are upset that 30m was so low. Only three clubs have better contract; United because they are global giant, Bayern also giant, but also german like adidas, and Real another giant. Barca has 28m year, Juve has up to 30m with bonuses, Psg 20m, City 15m. It has to be said Barca is about to renew with Nike rumoured worth up to 80m. Regardless, we were still pretty much on top. However, we have only ourselves to blame for accepting 10 year contract with no chance of renegotiating unlike other clubs. Our brilliant board strikes again.

Really hope it ends up being Nike.  But wouldn't be surprised if Under Armor lands the deal.  They're splashing a lot of cash around these days, took Notre Dame away from adidas for big money a couple years back.  That was a massive signing for their brand.
