I would love him here to provide some depth on our midfield position. He has a good season under his belt and is certainly an upgrade from Mikel.

Look at the Eto'o transfer last season. He was physically in worse shape then Thiago yet he has done well for us. As a short term squad player for free he would be a great deal. Especially until we check Van Ginkel and Romeu.

I can't escape a feeling we will be playing 4-3-3 next season because of Fabregas which means we only -have 3 regular midfielders in Matic, Ramires and Fabregas. That's absolutely not enough. I'm omitting VanG and Romeu since I'm not sure what will Mourinho do with them.

Spanish is a beautiful language and a bit dramatic at times. It allows you to "play" with the words.

They used "enemigo" because of the relation between Jose and Atleti - the rojiblancos (the fans) despise him
