this is the week that can make our CL qualifications very very easy. i have no doubt that FSW will put in a strong team considering he rested hazard, oscar, mikel in the last match.

cech

azpi iva luiz bert

mikel rambo

oscar mata hazard

ba.

but these wont be the only chelsea players that we should be cheering this weekend. LUKAKU is going to be very pivotal with arsenal playing away to wba. hope for him to get a hatrick. plus with bale and lennon injured and tot playing everton, we could have a field day.

Despite Torres's good performance yesterday, definitely still want Ba to start here. Do not want to take the risk with Torres as he may end up playing rubbish again! We know what we'll get from Ba on Sunday and it's needed especially Sunderland are likely to react in a positive manner after PDC's appointment.

If we win this, it will be five wins in the last six in all competitions. That's a bit more like the real Chelsea, isn't it?

About fucking time! Let's trah em

I hope the prominent win yesterday has made us better. Would be sweet to follow it up with another solid win against Sunderland. Some more goals from Torres perhaps ? :halo:

After calculation the probability for a repeat is approx. 0.00000000000000000000000000001%

I have a really, really bad feeling that Mignolet is going to have the game of his life.

It just feels like one of those games...like stupid Ben Foster against WBA, playing a stormer against us on his customary one game a season where he morphs into fucking Gianluigi Buffon.

We need to score before half-time, otherwise I'll be worried...

Here is an interesting analysis of Ba's performance.

Chelsea is stronger in management, player skills and momentum and should win. But Sunderland will get a boost from their new manager. One of Chelsea's weaknesses is occasional lack of focus and concentration against teams in the lower end of the table e.g. QPR.

Yeah...I'm sure if there is one on Torres, most of the performance scores would be 0 or in the negatives!

And really, such numbers and figures are pointless. The context and factors on why the scores were high and/or low weren't even explained!

So Rafa made Ba somewhat more consistent although moderately underwhelming?

Nice job he did then ....

Rafa didn't buy any of the players for the Chelsea squad - he works with what he is given. Hopefully, when he gets a new 5 year contract he will recommend that the club get rid of the deadwood and bring in two more genuine strikers, a genuine winger, a replacement for Terry and a hard tackling dynamic midfielder. Then he will drill the squad in zonal marking and alternative attacking formations that will make better use of the skills of a Torres or Ba.

Ok sure. So the performances is all because of squad deadwood and has nothing to do with Rafa? I feel you ignore the psychological/motivational aspect here. He might be a good manager but I do not see him succeeding here. If a leader has no followers - its game over - in companies and also in football teams.

Also, an adaptation of 5 new key players to make Chelsea a good tactical fit for Rafa is putting the carriage before the horse imo. I am not a hater, but i fail to see the logic. The only way this sounds rational is if you - ive seen you post really sensible stuff as well - are foremost a Rafa fan instead of a Chelsea fan. Which is ok for me, just don't call others with a heart for the blue haters because of it, please.
