Great pic, so much symbolism in it.

:fainthv9: Yeah Ba was invisible the whole game....no way better than the copy+paste skysports ratings. Hence here are mine:

Cech 6

Solid as ever, did not really have much to do, but was there when needed as usual. Could not do too much about the goal. His decision to leave his line was reasonable.

Iva 6

Was as lucky as solid in defense, had some funny unorthodox tacklings

Cahill 5

some unnecessary mistakes, was owned by France Di santo multiple times, failed the offside trap allowing maloney to score.

Azpilicueta 8

solid in defense, brillant going forward, demonstrated his awesome technique by assisting two goals and linking up in various slick moves. Had some problems with Mccarthy, Di santo and maloney at times

Cole 7,5

Combined well with hazard had some great runs down the flank and caused wigan all sorts of troubles, kept his left side watertight

David Luiz 6

could have been a little more commanding in defense, committed too many fouls and let his opponents drift through way too often, provided a passing station in midfield and supported the attack with nice long balls and good runs. Not yet back to full fitness

Lamps 8

his passing accuracy has a bit declined in the last 2 season, but nowadays he is maybe the most clinical player on the planet, another absolute quality goal. Good positioning in midfield, dropped really deep to help the build up play and delivered some nice long balls.

Ramires 6,5

great finish for the first goal, full of running, a little wild on the right side, but did well defensively, was absent for some stages of the match

Oscar 6

put in great effort and produced some magic but ineffective in the end, inspiring figuere but noway close to mata.

Hazard 7

back with a bang, really was the king on this left side, could have tried the dribbling more often but won many important goals and took his goal with composure, even though the shot was not perfect

Torres 4,5

squandered the few chances he had, did not go for the crosses, runs were clueless, at least provided ramires with a great assist, linked up ok, but honestly everyone can do that.

No rating for subs, not enough time to make a real impression

Oh come on, Torres definitely wasn't the worst on the pitch from Chelsea... I don't like him too, but he played good game

Once Frank Lampard scores a goal, he usually starts an awesome run of goals. Still a lot of games to go, considering we should progress in the FA Cup and the Europa League. He will surely reach the 200 landmark, the 2 or 3 goals more hopefully as well.

Wigan didn't deserve to be beaten like this. They played some really good football throughout the whole game. Still it proves how bad we were at times because this Wigan team is probably second worst team that visited the Bridge this season. Thank fuck we haven't bottled it again.

Told you all about Azpilicueta even when the first story of our interest appeared. He had a good game, Oscar was lively, Eden scored... Frank is incredible, the man has now what, like 9 goals in the last 14 matches. Fuckin brilliant.

anyone else thinking the board not giving lamps a new deal as a ploy to get him to play his best football he has been pretty awesome since getting his starting role back.. hopefully when hes secured the goal scoring record they give him the deal..

Cole had a shocking game today. Add di Santo to the extensive list of players that have done him time and time again this season.

Hmm I think Azpi and Cole were ordered forward a lot more this game to combat Wigan 3-5-2 system...

It did leave us exposed quite a few times...

Cole is ageing though and playing lots of minutes, could do with a rest?

Di Santo went around Azpilicueta as well, maybe even worse than Cole. Thought our defence did OK generally. Cahill had one terrible pass, but it was a foul that caused it, so hard to blame him. Goal was caused by Hazard giving away the ball and then Cech coming out when he should have stayed in. Other than that, we were pretty solid defensively.

Really ? I thought the goal had more to do with Cahill and Ivanovic being absolutely terrible at defending through balls...
