It doesn't mean be stupid but theres no point getting knocked out because we didn't give it a big enough go.... Could even play Oscar with lamps given that they will most likely be sitting back and play marin on the right... Oscar on the right isn't ideal but the only other option is marin and if we can replicate our first half performance with arsenal, with demba ba up front we should be able to score the goals required. JT back in for his priceless leadership and to keep the team going as well as him being our best defender (which is the most imprtant reasoning). If we play our best team and they all show up, swansea will sit back concede, and start to panic and demba ba will see us over the line. I'm feeling confident... Berme101 0 Posted January 22, 2013 Share Posted January 22, 2013 Ba has got to start, if Torres starts will will have an even bigger mountain to climb than we already have. what i mean by that is Torres will struggle to even get chances against Swansea but if Ba starts he will be more of a problem for Swansea's defence to deal with and will most likely get on the score sheet. It is crucial that we get the first goal and early. We must also show the determination we showed in the comeback(even though we were at home) against Napoli last season in the champions league.If we do that you never know we might just have to book those tickets for the final. Swansea is going to put 10 players in their final third to defend their shit out, Ramires' ability is not ideal for such tight space offensively. Our performance of setpiece will be vital.
