Santiago. 1,500
What player on planet earth doesn't show up in big games ''sometimes''. I once upon a time seen Messi not show up in a Championsleague knock out game against Liverpool. I have seen lors of games were Ronaldo and Henry have not played very well in big games, these guys are human deal with it.That isn't even the discussion you laughable fool. The argument was that i clearly stated in my claim that drogba sometimes doesn't show up in big games, and you felt the need to post a ridiculous counter claim in that , he does show up in big games, he saves our ass, that i don't watch Chelsea matches, that there should be a test to enter this form and other laughable posts as well. In which your claim has no relevance to the fact that it only supports mine, you clown. To sum it up for you, i said he sometimes, that's the key word, sometimes doesnt show up in big games You said, he does show up in big gamesI provided many examples in when he was missingYou claimed, he is only human, that he someitmes goes missing...So what the fuck are we arguing for???Who isn't? Even Messi and Ronaldo are very absent in international matches and they are the 2 best players in the world. Look at Rooney in the 2010 world cup, he's Englands best player. Look at Lamps and Gerrard for England, look at Henry for France.... Come on mate, nobody plays well in every big tournament. Please provide where there is abuse? It's a known fact he sometimes doesn't show up as well as every player in the world. The thing you're not understanding is that my claims are directed towards "badboy", who has made a fool of himself in this argument we just had. Ollie 4,400
Yep, all said n done, congrats to Zambia in the same place as the 1993 tragedy. This win is for those guys.Semia.... you said Drogba sometimes doesn't play well in big games did you not? I'm just saying that it's impossible to be great in every game and the best players in the world are the same. It's football.

Steve 10,227
To be fair Zambia played a very good game, and they deserved there win. We all wanted Ivory Coast to win for Drogba but at the end of the day they did not show up. Drogba could of won in with his penalty but he decided to take the penalty the way he takes free kicks and it clearly back fired. All he had to do was pick a corner and place it there and he tried for too much. It's a shame because this might of been his last chance to win it. Blue Armour 4,439
I can see him playing til his late 30s for the IC.I really hope he can, at least as a sub....A small selfish part of me wanted him to win this tournament so that he could bring some of the winning mentality into our games, and this result has now made me doubly upset...Oh well, that's sports for you! capriccioso 2,545
Wouldn't have expected Didier, a man who has scored winners in cup finals, to miss from the spot like that...nerves clearly showed.Well done to Zambia, but just gutted with the fact that Ivory Coast lost this one big chance...Penalties are something entirely different. I think he would have converted that if it had been a chance from open play.
Blue Armour 4,439
Penalties are something entirely different. I think he would have converted that if it had been a chance from open play.I meant he's normally so composed..he scored from a free kick to win us a final..Anyway, there's a lot more expectation from the spectators when it comes to a penalty, so yeah , I see what you mean
